very disappointed
this fan would be a very hard in stall without adjusting the holes in the fan bracket of the fan in order for it to line up with the existing holes in the ceiling bracket in order to install the fan. we decided to return the fan, got word from the company that they would accept our return and if it cost more than 50.00 to call them, the number was erroneous, we decided maybe we should keep it since the balance would not be returned until they received the fan and being out possibly for another 50.00 seemed to be a bigger risk than to try to use it in one of our bedrooms and decided to keep and will try to install after painting the ceiling. this was the first of two of these types of ceiling fans we have purchased and we also had problems with the other fan with similar install issues and then the remote didn't work, Truthfully I feel it is better to buy from a local store if things don't work out.

No ground wire, not a standard bracket for hanging.
The bracket included with this fan will not fit a standard electrical box. Either the bracket needs to be modified or a new box needs to be installed. Then, there is no ground wire. So unless you are an electrician and carpenter and sheet rock installer, I would opt for a more standardized fan.
