This webcam is awesome video great, has hand gestures controls via software. Follows you when moving, and even some filters. Has the ability to be remote controlled. Only thing unhappy with is the magnet on top of monitor piece made poorly fell off monitor once and broke and cant seemed to get that piece

Love this thing. AI tracking is good but it takes some time getting to set up properly. Sometimes it sticks in one place where the most activity is happening but not on the speaker.

I bought it specifically for zoom meetings where there is a group in a meeting room. With the remote control I can rotate the camera around to the current speaker in the room and can also zoom in and out. I know it can track a single speaker, but I've never tried doing this.

We needed a tracking camera for when teachers are being observed in their classroom; an Owl just for that purpose would have been cost prohibitive, but this little guy does the job just fine. Software download went easy on a Windows 11 laptop, and the tracking once you lock it on to the main presenter has gone off without a hitch. Really good buy for the money!

This camera is supposed to have "intelligence". I use OBS a lot and wanted a bit more control of the picture and higher quality than my current camera, and this seemed to fit the bill. Alas, the camera keeps resetting, changing settings, dark, light, very close, extremely far out - it will just turn to the ceiling or turn around without being coached. On Fedora (Linux) there's no way to even get to the settings. It's almost impossible to zoom out once you've zoomed in (the "L" finger shape), perhaps it will reset if you disconnect it, perhaps it wont. The app that seems to be required for the camera to work of course is closed source, windows only.Over the years I've had quite a lot of different USB cameras, and NONE of them require a special app to work. I can zoom, pan, tilt, set focus etc. all using standard USB tooling - in 95% of all cases I don't even have to do anything, but place the camera and create the proper lightning. This doesn't work like that. It's not automated, it keeps destroying setups and is entirely un-reliable as a camera to help with stream broadcasting.I've seen it "ok" following a speaker at a podium even though the camera mistook obstructions between it and the speaker as resets and others so in a two hour period, it lost track several times.Bottom line is, that this isn't as "smart" as advertised. It needs a lot of hand-holding but like a 4 year old, it will do what it please regardless of what you tell it to do.The picture quality once focused in, is great. But it's really hard to use!

The reason you'd buy this camera is if you need a camera that tracks motion. It does a really good job moving smoothly and keeping the subject in frame. It has a good 4k camera and has the ability to use hand signals to allow for zoom and turn "track subject" on and off. With a camera like this, everything is going to be in focus. If you're just looking for a nice webcam for sit-down zoom meetings, this is not your camera. Movement is what this is about.
