It may add a minuscule fraction to your bill as it’s connected to Wi-Fi…You won’t save money but you won’t spend more than a minute amount more than you already do.

Is it possible to turn all the lights off or does the blue bar light have to stay on?

The light stays on if you want to use the voice command through internet. Just disconnect the kettle from the internet if you don't want the blue bar light on. You will not then be able to use the Alexa voice command or the smart home app to control the Weeket

Is the kettle handle cool to touch after boiling water

It sure is just like any other kettle

Would like an Alexa routine to switch on kettle to defined temperature. Alexa won't recognise the device when asked and only allows up to 32C

A simple answer, yes you can, do this… 1. Go into the Alexa app and begin routine setup for day and time. 2. Add action, from smart home, add kettle and select power ON 3. Add action 4. Select customised request 5. Type the command “set kettle to (40-100 degrees)” 6. Save Glad to help, my work here is done
