I've had numerous foot surgeries and they've caused my first toes to protrude and rub against the fronts of my shoes. Also, when I walk I thrust my toes forward. Those toes were so tender that sometimes I couldn't bear to touch their tips. The protectors have done away with the tenderness problem and don't take up any room in my shoes. I'm happy with them.

Good quality but they slide off as you walk. I need to use those in the summer as my feet get really dry and my big toe always cracks to the point of bleeding so I can't wear socks with them with my flip-flops. If you can wear socks over them they would definitely work.
