FABULOUS!!!!
I already had two or three of these, which I had placed in a large L-shaped walk-in closet, and I liked them so much, I wanted another one for our shed. They are GREAT. Very bright. Shaped like a light switch. Just flip the switch, and WOW, are they ever bright. You can put them up with either a nail or with the Velcro attachments which come included. I am very happy with this purchase, and may order some more.

These lights really light up a room!
I ordered four and am very pleased with them. However, when received two of them appeared to have been left turned on so the batteries were dead. This could have happened in shipping since the switch is very easy to turn on. This isn't a deal breaker for me since I'll simply buy more batteries and have them ready for power outages this winter. They really do put out the light.

It takes 4 batteries, not 2
I purchased 3 of these. I left one of them on accidentally (inside a cabinet) and ran down the batteries. I use rechargeables, so no big deal, I changed them out, all good. But over the next couple of weeks the light seemed to be gradually getting dimmer. When new, this light is so blindingly bright, you can't even look at it without seeing spots for several minutes. This afternoon, with a fresh pair of batteries in it, it did light up again, but it was nowhere near as bright as it should have been, at best maybe 20%.I recalled other reviewers commenting about the same thing, so I initially thought maybe I'd received a bad one. I decided to open it up to see what the issue was and whether it was something that could be repaired/salvaged.The UPC sticker they use is large and is placed directly on the back of the light itself. Someone decided the sticker looked nice aligned with the bottom of the light. As it turns out, the sticker almost completely obscures a second battery compartment -- this light takes *4* AAA batteries, two in the top compartment, and another two in the bottom compartment (which is hidden behind the sticker). Once I removed the sticker and replaced the second set of batteries, it was like looking into the sun again. The light itself is bright and does a decent job lighting up an area, but the hook and loop fasteners it ships with are worthless. Buy some self-stick velcro at the hardware store and use that, or mount it using the keyed screw/nail hole. I haven't tried the magnets, I but don't have a lot of faith in them. This light is a nice design, it's easy to use in the dark (just like finding a light switch), and it's fairly inexpensive. It does the job nicely for what I intended to use it for.

Bright, but not in the right way
I bought one of these as a temporary replacement for a light that had gone bad in a bedroom. I figured I could put it on the wall next to the actual light switch, and use it until I could get the real one fixed. This was a bad idea. The light seems to shine directly into your eye regardless of direction, and at an intensity far too bright. We now use it as a flashlight for when the power goes out, for which it actually works quite well for.

Brightest stickup light you can buy
I love the brightness, but am having a bit of a problem with adhesion. Maybe this is because I put it over a kitchen sink. The brightness is superior to any stick up light I've ever owned.

Huge amount of light. Ordered two, only one worked.
Ordered two after buying one retail. Only one worked. Bright light perfect for a dark closet.

Great little light switch
I installed two of these in my henhouse for t thy hide times I need to check for eggs in the evening, or when I’m gathering in the early morning hours. I also set one inside the hay barn door. Battery life is decent and these switches easily affix to most surfaces. Definitely recommend.

These are all similar, but this one came with dead batteries.
These battery operated light switches are all similar, but this one came with dead batteries. Next time I will shop at my local hardware store. There the switches are more expensive up front, but at least they come with working batteries, so in the end the price is a wash. That said, my lightswitch obsessed toddler grandchildren adore these. I suggest you tape the battery compartments closed if you intend to use them as a kids' toy. Within an afternoon one of the battery compartment doors went missing.
