Straight, strong sticks; however, the tip of the rubber knob has a slight point to it which seems to throw off the aim a bit, so we use the back end and make sure we don't touch the board as we shoot. Otherwise, it will scratch.

These sticks are perfect size, however we added a felt tip to the end. Now they work well.

The sticks I had originally were longer and tapered and easier to shoot with. I could of purchased 3/8 inch dowels instead of these.
