I can not stress enough how amazing this sunscreen is. I have tried so many different sunscreens over the past couple years, basically everything off the shelf you'd find at Target, Walmart, etc. Even the best rated "oil free, face sunscreens" left me with a white cast, feeling super oily, and causing me to breakout bad. Don't even get me started on the feeling of those cheap sunscreens getting in your eyes after you sweat a little. As I embark on another toasty Phoenix, Arizona summer I knew I had to find something better. I researched a fair bit online, and landed here. Can I understand what it says on the package? Absolutely not, but it does not matter, because IT WORKS SO WELL. It feel like a soothing moisturizer when applying, and absorbs in super quickly. It spreads evenly, and leaves no sticky feeling or white casting. I went out on a two hour hike on a sunny day, the results? No burns, so comfortable I forgot I even applied it, no stickiness, no oiliness, and no irritation in my eyes even after working up a good sweat. The sunscreen does not have much of a scent too which I appreciate. The bottle also came with a little plastic protective part to prevent the pump from dispensing if you don't intend to, which I quite enjoy for traveling.I have every intent in buying again and no longer buying those common names from the big box stores.

Uses the nicer chemical filters, "squeeze tube" listing still comes in a pump!
For anyone else trying to find sunscreens that use the nicer, foreign filters and not the american ones that smell like sunscreen, this uses the nice ones! (for the nerds: Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate,Ethylhexyl Triazone, Hexyl Diethylaminohydroxybenzoylbenzoate)A lot of the other sunscreens I liked have released re-formulated ones for the American market that use the FDA approved sunscreens, and it's been hard to find the ones that are actually nice on Amazon anymore, so it's great to find this. Also, I ordered the one labeled "squeeze tube" and it came with a pump, which was unexpected but awesome.[May 2025]

It works! (a picture is worth a thousand words)
Good news: It definitely works! Bad news: partial sunburn for me. I was sceptical - especially considering how clearly and smoothly it applies, it seemed to good to be true - but as my picture shows, it absolutely works! You can see I applied it on and around the back of my neck and upper back but forgot I was wearing a low-back top and neglected to apply, hence the burn.

Finally...sunscreen that won't pill under makeup
I'm so happy I read about this sunscreen on Reddit! I was looking for one that won't pill under tinted moisturizer/makeup, and this one *does not pill at all* under my tinted moisturizer from tarte. It goes on really smoothly, and I don't need to use much of it at a time to cover my face and neck. It also functions as a good hydrating primer. I put it on with my fingers and then use a damp sponge to apply my tinted moisturizer on top of it.

Small
Smaller than expected. About the size of hand but it's still good so far.

Please don’t stop selling this in the US!
This is almost exactly like the Biore Watery Essence SPF PA+++ (no longer sold in USA) for those of you looking for a replacement. It’s lightweight, non greasy, great under makeup or alone.

Buy it already!
This is my fav sunscreen of all time. Goes on like a dream. For my rosacea skin is extremely cooling and pleasant. No burning or stinging around the eyes and dries down very fast. My husband has even started using it who is not a daily user of sunscreen.
