I actually have two sizes of these that I swap out using the QD Quick Detach Cam Lock on each one. This makes for a great set up either prone or sitting. Very stable with just the right amount of cant each way.

First of all, this is a solid product made with metallic components, no plastic anywhere on mine. As advertised, it is excellent for shooting while sitting on a stool. I find mine too tall to shoot while sitting on ground, however.It is long and a little on the heavy side when mounted on a rifle. But this is where the quick release comes in handy. Unless cant control is locked down, detaching the bipod is quick and easy. I carry the bipod separately so it does not add length of weight to the rifle.The product itself is very solid. However, I take one point off because the mechanism has a tendency to scratch itself, and the lock control is not as smooth as I would like. Guess I am spoiled by high-end camera ball heads where you can control the tension and still have all degrees of freedom in a smooth way.If you need a long attached bipod for shooting from sitting on a stool, this is one of the best options that I have found.

Still too short for shooting from lawn chair height seats. Should be lighter weight 3 piece design. Existing 2 piece design sticks out too far from end of barrel when in folded position.
