Q: The the wood raw or finished with a clear coat? I want to stain it darker, but I’m wondering how much sanding I’ll need to do.

It is raw untreated wood..... looks like burch

Q: Is this hand strong enough to hold a game controller?

To be honest, I never tried to use it for game controller,but I think since the weight of the controller with batteries exceeds the weight of the hand, it may be unstable to hold the controller. But I might be wrong, so it is worth giving a try, in any case it may come handy for holding plenty of other light weight stuff. Hope it helps :)

Q: Would this be able to fold and hold a pair of headphones without the fingers opening back up?

The fingers do stay in place when you pose them but I’m not sure it would be able to grip a pair of headphones unless they had a very thin headband and were super light?
