Anti-Theft Cat Shield, Fits 2016-2023, 3.5L Toyota Tacoma 4WD - Miller CAT Aluminum Catalytic Converter Protection

We've been having allot of catalytic converter theft in our area and leaving my truck outside is worrisome. Now that I have this my truck is no longer a preferred target. Easy to install. Perfect fit. Highly recommend. Price is high due to customization but still cheaper than new cats. Peace of mind is priceless.

Everything was basic except my crossbar bolts were over torqued. I had to get a 1/2inch breaker bar and 12mm1/2 deep socket to help loosen 5 of the 8. A ratchet with a 12mm is all you'll need for this job for the bolts. Took me awhile to actually get the tools and paid extra to have it shipped 2 days to install but didn't have proper tools before we left for vacation ugh lol. Product arrived early and was easy to put together and install. It fit perfectly and now i don't have to worry about losing $2,000 worth of catalytic converters like the truck parked next to me last week who lost his.

Was going to buy this one day but didn’t and that weekend somebody tried to steal my converters they cut fuel lines and sensors. The total cost of reapairs was a little over 4k and 33 days in the shop cause of back ordered parts. Looks very good. Very good quality hardware but was short a few washers and lock washer wish it was a lil thicker but a good investment

Installed in my truck to give me security and piece of mind.

As advertised. Not too hard to install. Just found it a little tricky to torque down the included security screws. Don't use a power tool for this step, use a ratchet. I dinged one up initially with power ratchet. Did the rest by hand with no issues.

Installed on a 2021 Toyota 4Runner TRD Offroad Premium.I originally ordered this thinking as long as it was for a 4Runner it would fit. I was informed there was a new KDSS model coming out to fit 4Runner Offroad Premium trim package. It fit perfectly once I removed a factory skid plate that did not appear in the instructions.If you have a helper that would be great, but it is totally doable by yourself. I did it without a lift or raising the vehicle.Miller Cat (Cat Shield) Customer and Tech support were excellent as well.Highly recommend.
