It does what it supposed to, brinsea always has great products and this is one of them.

It works
I marked the eggs with a line to verify their angle of rotation and noted that some larger eggs in the outer ring did not have enough friction to turn, but were fine on the inner ring. Also the angle of rotation on the outer ring is smaller than the inner so occasionally repositioning eggs may be good. Since I was only incubating 16 eggs out of 40 positions, I had plenty of room for this and for a secondary thermometer and humidity gauge.This was my first attempt at incubating quail eggs and I am pleased.

Maxi advance quail egg tray
Worked for quail eggs like stated. Out of 13 viable eggs, 12 hatched.

Too small for quail eggs
Coturnix quail eggs do not fit. I have to use regular chicken egg tray. Going to attempt to drill have les wider.

Works as intended, perfect for Bantom chicken eggs
This is a nice addition to my incubator, we have Bantom chickens and hatch them with no issues using this disk.
