Wow brilliant product. Tub is full to bursting, easy to use, quick drying time and gives thick finish to projects. Love it. Great value for money will last for long time.

Great coverage. Using it to coat a wood panel. Will do two coats (sanding in between because of wood fibre) but one coat totally hits grain.

Coverage was good and easily covered a 2 m canvas with two coats.

As some other review's say,it's thick and still is what you need on a painting,works for me,the tub is good and strong the primer a good smooth consistency,could recommend this one.

Disclaimer: I am not an artist/painter. 😂 I do diamond painting & I saw an idea on Tiktok to cover the key codes etc on the border of my diamond paintings. I don't have a clue about painting, paints, etc. 😂 But I saw reviews saying this product achieved decent coverage in one coat. They weren't wrong! I didn't dilute it, just stuck my brush straight in the pot & off we went! Just one coat covered all the nonsense around the edge of my canvases. It dried fairly quickly, though it was over 25°c in my home & I was painting in front of a fan, so I'm not sure if that sped up the process. It's a true black, not a dark brown or blue. The photo was taken straight after I finished painting one coat on the first canvas. It really makes the colours in the diamond paintings pop! Even undiluted, it was easy to use. It didn't leave brush strokes & I only needed one coat on all the diamond paintings I needed to do (8 in total!). It was touch dry in about 20 mins, just a little bit tacky, but left no marks on my fingers when I picked up the canvas to put it somewhere to dry. They were fully dry after leaving them laid out overnight - I was able to put the finished items away in plastic pockets in a portfolio. I didn't notice any smell. Cleanup was easy. As I said, I don't have a clue about paint, so I only swished my paintbrush in a glass of water & wiped it on a tissue after doing the first 4. Artists, don't come for me. 🫣😂 When I'd finished all 8 diamond paintings, I washed my brush with just a bit of washing up liquid & swishing the bristles around in my hand until the suds were white. It washed out really well & quickly. I'd definitely buy again, even though I've probably got enough for 100s of diamond paintings. 😂 And I'd definitely recommend it to others.

This feels like decent quality, but for me personally I prefer Robersons or Liquitex. This is too thick. Thinned the first coat, second coat used it straight but it’s hard to spread on canvas with a brush. It might suit someone who applies it with a spatula, but for brush it’s not great. It might work with a brush on panel.

Works great as prime on air dry clay and on card. Dries super quickly, and is easy to apply. Does leave streak lines so needs a few coats.

I used this on the wooden Christmas ornaments I made to sell at Christmas fairs. It sealed the wood and made it easy to apply both acrylic paint and/or oil paint designs. Will continue to use this product.

Fantastic coverage viscosity adherence. Had to use angle grinder to remove it from stainless steel. Opake as Carlsbad Cavern lights out

Perfect and good quality

Works great. To those complaining its too thick you can add water.

The gesso is pretty good for studio work. The only downside is that it is very thick and gooey. I use sponges to apply gesso and had to work faster than usual in applying it because of streaking. I always let gesso of any brand to dry/cure for 24-48 hrs. On day 2 I checked the canvas and it felt a little sticky so I gave it another day and it was fine on day 3. I recommend this brand gesso for studio work. I’d use another, better quality for gallery works.
