Honolulu Jewelry Company Sterling Silver Whale Tail CZ Accented Necklace Pendant with Simulated Blue Opal and 18" Box Chain

Pendant is Gorgeous! Very nicely made of very fine and excellent quality. It's a solid piece of silver. Back is flattened completely (not hollowed out)and very shiny polished. Whole thing is well polished. The Blue Opal is fantastic! I think it shines more than real Opal and the blue, I call "ocean blue" color is simply gorgeous! I have seen the white opal, or even pinkish opal and in my opinion, the blue opal seems to be the most eye-catching and most beautiful to me. Maybe because my favorite color and birthstone is this same blue color, but that's just me. You be the judge but I like this blue opal the most. The zirconias are very tiny but they do give a beautiful added sparkle and really enhance the blue opal. I love the perfect whale's tail shape of it. The 6 panels of Opal look very unique and interesting. Size is like they say. An inch wide and an inch high. Not to small, not too large. A medium size pendant. Looks exactly like the picture. The pendant is a little thick, and slightly heavy...a good weight. It is also realistically curved, made like a real whale's tail. The chain is just ok, but the main thing is the pendant. I think you want your eye to mainly focus on the whale tail anyway. It is a bit expensive but right now it is half price and I think since a chain is included, it is worth it. I am very pleased with it and do recommend it to all whale and dolphin lovers.

Most folks would not believe this is as inexpensive as it is. I purchase 3 whale tail pendents this being one of them. I would say it is really sharp looking and my wife took to it of the three. This was sterling looking and the other sterling looking was of Nickel Free Sterling Silver Pendant Whale Tail Lab Opal Pendant. This is a tad smaller but is well made and very I eye catching. The blue opal really stands out! The14k gold pendent ( Gold Dolphin Whale Tail Pendant (14k) was smaller than the 2 silvers but was attractive as well although being gold it was 2 -4 times as much.

The whale's tail charm is beautiful, lovely piece and a nice quality. The chain that I received with it is 16", very flimsy and NOT extendable to 18". Very disappointing - I could've done with the flimsy chain but wanted the 18" as advertised. Purchase this piece for the whale's tail, but expect to have to replace the chain.

My mom absolutely LOVED this necklace! She already had a ring that matched it perfectly (from a Carnival cruise shop), and she loves the color blue, animals and the ocean, but I wasn't sure if it would look too tacky or mesh with her style. Luckily, it did! My budget's tight this year, so I was very relieved when the package arrived (on a Sunday, no less) and looked stunning. The brilliant blue is even brighter than it looks online, and the stones are small enough to look real from a distance. The packaging is very professional too; the box made it easy to throw the necklace in a gift bag and go. The chain's pretty short, but as my mom pointed out, the pendant loop has plenty of room to go on ANY chain, regardless of the clasp or thickness.

So beautiful. Well worth the money. The chain is awesome also!!! Definitely recommend
