EVERPROGray Away Root Touchup Powder 4ml, light brown, 0.13 Ounce

Love this stuff. I have curly, coarse dark brown hair that's thinning on top. I was using fiber/powder products but hate the mess. They cover, but don't stay on. Hairspray helps, but it smells. I ran out of the fiber/powder, so went to the drug store for more but couldn't find any. Came across Gray Away and figured I'd give it a try. Gray Away really helped thicken my hair as well as covering the gray. No smell, no powder mess and stays on well, even if you get your hair wet. (Shampoo takes it right off). It feels dry/coarse when I put it on, but a hair product softens it up without taking it off. I don't know if it would work for balding fine/straight hair, but it might be worth a try. Please post a review if it thickens your hair too.Update 1/3/2019: Still use Gray Away. Still works great as a base to cover my fair-skinned scalp and to cover my gray hair. But now I use it along with hair fibers. I like "Hair Finally"; it's inexpensive, they have lots of colors, and the containers are refillable. I keep the fibers on with "Got2b Glued" hairspray; this stuff doesn't smell at all and it really keeps the hair fibers on. I can go days without messing with my hair and, just like Gray Away, it washes right off with soap, And the best part is no powder on my clothes or sheets.Update 7/12/2019: Still using it. Dropped the hairspray though. I still use Hair Finally hair fibers after putting on the Gray Away. With short hair, the fibers stay on all day. Seems that the hair fibers stick to the Gray Away like the Gray Away sticks to your hair. But this may only work with short hair though.

This product was originally created to cover gray roots between salon visits, but I began using it to cover my scalp where my hair had become very thin. It does an amazing job. Unfortunately if I run my hands through my hair or scratch my head, I get some of the product on the ends of my fingers, but it's a small price to pay for the wonderful coverage it gives me. It's hard to tell how thin my hair is when I use the Gray Away on my scalp. It's also very easy to use and lasts for quite a while. Well worth the money.

At 67, and still working everyday, I need to look my best and I hate to color my hair because chemicals are not good for you. This product is so great that even though my hair around my face and part are gray I can apply this and complete cover of gray and good match. I use almost everyday for little touch ups and my hair remains healthy and looking great!I highly recommend this product and I have tried so many other brands in the market. I use to be able to buy at CVS but for some reason they are not stocking so lucky and even more convenient I buy from Amazon!

This stuff is the best I’ve found for covering greys. I’ve only used it on hair that is close to my head. Never tried to use it on any long hair. The only downside is that the color does come off on the hairbrush. Also make sure you wash your hair before coloring because it blocks the hair dye from penetrating. Great to use in between coloring especially on roots.

This works great at covering grey. You only need to use a smidgen.

Absolutely a must have for any female or even a guy w/this color hair who is loosing His or Her hair/He would use it of course in the back for a bald spot/She as well but I use it anywhere I see small patches of hair loss as My hair is starting to thin! All you do is dab it on & that’s it! Done deal! Easy breezy! Don’t sleep on a light pillow case though at night just in case! Could rub off! It’s a powder! But mine stays in for days as I have dry hair so I don’t have to wash my hair daily-plus washing My hair more tends to make more fall out in My comb-but this is the best & Ive tried them all! Just don’t buy the crayon in this brand-it will never come off of Your scalp for months-that was a big mistake! Get this powder !

My hair is black so I got the black/dark brown powder. It's easy to apply and rub in with the sponge for an even look. I much prefer it to any spray I've tried in the past. Love the product despite the $35 price tag. It does last me for many months so in the end it's worth it for me but when you look at the small size, it's kind of head scratching why it costs so much - perhaps not enough competition. I haven't searched for similar products - a friend gifted this one to me and I loved it so still using it.

I use a spray for my roots but my sisters like powders better. I saw this Everpro Gray Away for a decent price and picked each of them up one to try. We sisters refuse to step out the door with roots showing! I asked both sisters what they thought about this root cover and both were not very impressed. They said that it is hard to cover the roots on the sides by their ears. It gets all over their faces.It covers the top roots but it transfers a lot. If they touch their hair, they have black fingers. If they brush or comb their hair, the powder starts to come out. And pillowcases are always stained from it. This does work for the most part to cover gray or lighter roots and it's pretty easy to use but there are better powders out there and, in my opinion, sprays work much better than any powder.
