I think they meant to say this fits a center divider less than 1.25" wide (NOT 1.5"). My center divider is exactly 1.25" W and this doesn't quite fit. It should sit flush with the divider. I'll be returning.

This sponge holder is great! I have a deep square kitchen sink (10” deep), so I can put my sponge, bottle cleaning brush, and the sink stopper in it. Gets them off the bottom of the sink so they are clean. However, if you have a more shallow sink, this may not work for the bottle brush part. This item hangs over the middle divider of your sink and it will fit that area if it measures 1 1/4” or less. Hope this is helpful!

It is what it says it is. It has a nice slim profile. I wish the hanger portion had rubber rails to prevent from scratching the sink but all in all I have no regrets. All I really wanted was a place other than the counter behind my sink to put the scrub pad and bottle brush and this fulfills that solution.

Fits easily and snugly on my sink, holds sponge, brush and brillo easily. Only issue is some of the edges at the top are a bit sharp and can cause scratches if you aren't careful... if edges were rounded or coated this would be perfect.

My previous holder used suction cups and the back and interior had to be cleaned thoroughly every few days so mold didn't grow. Won't have that problem with this. Holds my sponge and handled sponge nicely without taking up a lot of room
