WOW, Best Food Processor I’ve Ever Used
The Cuisinart FP-12DCN Elite Collection 2.0 Food Processor is hands down the best I’ve ever used. The powerful motor and sharp blades handle everything effortlessly, from chopping and slicing to pureeing and kneading dough. The 12-cup capacity is perfect for both small and large tasks, making meal prep quick and easy. The die-cast construction gives it a sturdy, high-quality feel, and the sleek design looks great on the countertop. It’s incredibly versatile with multiple attachments, and everything fits together seamlessly. Cleanup is surprisingly easy, with most parts being dishwasher safe.Overall, this food processor is a game changer in the kitchen. It’s fast, efficient, and built to last—worth every penny. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen tools!

I love the machine
First the positives and then a caution. I love the machine; although I just used it for the first time today. It isn't super loud like a nutri-bullet but not super quiet either. Everything fits together well and it did a great job on pulverizing my Oreos and mixing in the softened cream cheese for my truffles. I can't speak to how it does with slicing veggies and such yet. I have very slick old counters in my kitchen and the rubber feet held it in place. It didn't walk across the counter even when I wasn't holding it. It's very heavy and seems durable. I hope it proves to be over time. I do like that the lid gasket is removable for cleaning as previous Cuisinart models had problems with food getting under the gasket and staying there and getting nasty. The book also says that the parts, except for the motor housing of course, are dishwasher safe; but, then it warns that over time the extremely hot water in a dishwasher could damage the parts so I plan to hand wash. It was pretty self explanatory to assemble but I would read the instructions to make sure you get everything locked and loaded, especially if this is your first food processor.A couple words of caution: Although the machine is packaged very well and came in just the Cuisinart box, not a brown cardboard box, - the top was not taped shut even over the tab that you fold out to open it. Mine did not come open and everything was in the box but I could see it coming open for someone. Best to ask for the packaging that doesn't show what's in the box. BUT my big caution is that when I opened the box it looked like the blades were in little disposable plastic box type covers when in reality they were plastic trays. When I went to pull the blades out I thought I was grabbing plastic that covered the whole blade and severely sliced my finger and needed stitches. That may be just my mistake and no one else might have seen what I thought I saw but please be very careful as the blades are not completely protected in the packaging. The discs at least are shipped in plastic bags but if you were to grasp them wrong they would surely also cut you. Also, it does not come with storage for the blades and discs so you will need to purchase some type of storage for them.I am giving this item 5 stars in spite of the couple of issues because I believe if you can get through unpacking without getting cut and get a box for the blades, it seems that it will be very easy to use.

Worth the hassle
We purchased this unit a month ago and it turned out to be a "refurbished" unit, which was reflected in the price, but not indicated on the Amazon website. The unit arrived in perfect condition but would not operate. It's being a refurbished unit meant that Amazon would not take the unit back and sent us to Cuisinart for support. We diagnosed the problem as having to do with the safety interlock mechanism on the bowl not being able to press the safety switch on the base. Cuisinart sent a replacement bowl, which had the same problem. More careful observation and measurements and some playing around led me to file some rough surfaces off of the plastic part that pushes the safety switch. We now have two working bowls and a really excellent food processor. This unit comes with a complete kit of chopper and grater attachments and has a system that seals the spinning tools so that liquid can fill bowl to the top. The base is metal, and the motor is a quiet induction motor. There is even an accessory storage cabinet available for all of the accessories that is well designed and holds everything in a relatively compact footprint.

Livre d'instruction
Nous aimons bien ce robot culinaire de grande capacité et de grande puissance. Le seul bémol est que les instructions ne sont qu'en anglais et en espagnol. La langue française serait-elle en voix de disparition ?
