Looks nice and does a great job at breaking up ice. I would recommend. The leather sheath is very attractive and practical. Looks a little like a Pirate Ice Pick.

Better Thank expected nicely crafted

While it's a perfectly serviceable ice pick and serves its purpose admirably, the brass parts of the pick (at least in my case) were blemished in a number of places and had a number of visible imperfections (dents/scratches, and so on). I don't feel that what I paid for it was too much, I'm just somewhat disappointed in the overall lack of care that was taken in keeping aesthetic damage to a minimum.

This was a $7.00 item which surprised me....but, I thought, it must have a fancy hilt. BOY! Did it! The hilt was a beautiful lucite- like crystal and the length of the entire icepick is about 11-1/2" long. MUCH bigger and scarier-looking than I expected. Also,$5.00 postage since the "pick" was sent from Pakistan! Understandable, then, that it took a couple weeks to arrive.This pick will be great for shearing slices off the 50lb. Or 100lb blocks for the ice cream maker each summer! But, don't miss and hit your leg or liver.......or any other important part of your body.

This is a fantastic ice pick. I couldn't believe how well made it is. It is larger than I thought it would be, and it does a wonderful job of breaking up large chunks of ice. I heartily recommend.

It is indeed an "ice pick" knife of such great quality and design that, even though I was by myself, I said, "This is fantastic"! I thought I would not part with it but as fate had it I gave it as a birthday gift to my 19 year old niece who was wearing a five-inch jacknife in a belt-loop pouch. She said, "This is fantastic!"

This worked very well when breaking down block ice at the 4th of July weekend BBQ. I liked the handle as it kept my grip firm and did not slip out of my hand. I highly recommend it.
