Q: Are the seams surged or raw?

The seams are finished....they are turned over and then stitched.....not just stitched with the threads of the fabric sticking out. They are done well.

I'm a 38 and normally buy a large. The large in this was too snug. They're great about returns. I eventually ordered size 44 and it works great. These are beautiful.
