Great travel toy for kids. Magnets work decently, and they kept my kids (5 &7) entertained for hours. Great quiet and compact toy for travelling, road trips, restaurants etc. Strongly recommend.

These are very small magnetic cubes, not for toddlers. My 5 and 8 year old grands enjoy these on car rides and at restaurants. A pencil case type box with a lip is good for preventing the cubes from falling in the car.

My grandson is a magnet nut, he takes them all off the fridge and has about four different kinds of magnet building sets. So he showed me these only a bigger name brand which I thought was ridiculously priced. So I found these. To judge the sizes I made cubes out of stock paper. Mine for this .5 we're bigger so when these came I was like ok he's old enough he loves them. They do not look consistent in size however. Other then that he loves them I feel they are to small and won't be buying again but that's because I don't think he will be able to keep track of them being so little. But he is 5 so for an older child that likes magnets they would be fine.

I like that they come in several colors and accompanied by numerous cards with design and pattern suggestions. Now, these tiny magnets can get a bit of practice to get them to actually stick together. My young son likes to put together geographic patterns. I even got his grandma interested in them. They’re a great kid activity, as well as for anyone whose an adult and playing with the kid, teaching them or for their own fun.

Our son used this on a recent trip. It was the perfect size to pack in a carry on. He also played with it during down time in our hotel room. Kids can get creative or follow the cards to build cute designs such as animals.
