Q: Can I use this product on an aluminium wheelchair ramp?

Yes you can. The magnesium chloride in Pet Safe Ice Melt will not harm the aluminum.

Q: Is this product non-toxic enough to use in the bathtub for a soak? I use mg chloride (from a different source) for that purpose.

No it is not. Even though magnesium chloride flakes have been reported to be beneficial to improve skin hydration, speed wound healing, enhance skin barrier function, and decrease inflammation when dissolved in warm water, the Pet Safe is in small pellet form & treated to melt snow & ice & is not for personal hygiene use.

Q: Does this contain ammonia sulfates or ammonia nitrates?

No it does not. It is 100% magnesium chloride hexahydrate.
