What's the difference between this jar and the commercial grade jar?

This IS the commercial grade jar. Amazon has the wrong picture. The commercial and residential jars are identical but come with different lids. The commercial jar lid will NOT seal correctly without a commercial blender. That's why so many reviews of this product complain about the lid. People are buying the wrong thing. The commercial blenders have a sound enclosure that holds the commercial lid in place. Go to Blentec's web site and look at pictures of their commercial grade blenders to see the difference.

Will this work with the 625 model?

Yes it will, the only thing I did not like is the lid is not of good quality.

Difference between wildside

The original lid was of better quality.

Will this work with es3 model?

Yes, the WS+ jar is compatible with the ES3 and all other Blendtec model blenders.
