This is your confirmation that you need to BUY THIS COMB!I bought the VKK straightening comb hoping that it would be a suitable, less expensive substitution for the T*MO Ring that EVERYONE is talking about. I have curly mixed afro hair (3A/3C combo with thick strands). This comb made straightening a BREEZE. I didn't even need to blowdry my hair first! I stretched my hair with bantu knots in the morning and flat ironed by late afternoon on the highest heat setting.It took me 35 minutes, start to finish, to straighten my hair to bone straight. It usually takes me nearly 2 hours with blowdrying and flat ironing. Because of the style of the comb, I could style larger sections of hair. My hair felt silky, the style lasted the entire week (usually with flat irons I have to touch up once or twice) and NO HEAT DAMAGE. My curls bounced right back.This is the one. Save your coins and buy this.Oh! It came with an an anti-static rat-tail comb and two clips to hold sections away.
