The Yellow one shows a ring size of "5/16 - ⅜ inch. stud size" So, is the ring size 5/16" or 3/8"?

It will fit either 5/16" or 3/8" studs and tighten up securely. ID is adequate for 3/8" stud.

Cannot change the battery terminal type that looks like a flat plate-like lip with a small hole in it. Must be able to disconnect battery for charging

Sounds like a bayonet post. You need a ring terminal on your wire and a bolt goes through both of them with a nut on the end of the bolt

Just checked size. Held terminal to penny. You can read through the ring of terminal on penny where it says "liberty" for a good idea of the stud size. Should handle 14g and smaller wires.
