Well it works great but it would be nice WITH THE PARTS JEEZ

I do not like seeds in the food I preserve. So raspberries and tomatoes were going to be made into preserves this year when this marvelous tool arrived. I used one a few years ago to remove tomato seeds when making tomato sauce. This year I needed a new tool to replace the worn-out one and the end product was many wonderful bottles of preserves without seeds.

This unit works great and made the job much easier with no longer having to crank for hours. I read other reviews so made sure to give the motor breaks every so often and had no issues with it. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to only using it for one day Both gaskets that they sent with it are ruined so tomorrow I will be pulling the old one I have out of the cupboard and spend the day cranking to finish my tomatoes it was a little disappointing

This was a game changer during canning season. I couldn't imagine making tomato sauce or applesauce without this amazing machine. 4 stars for easy to clean because the fine mesh sieve is understandably challenging when you need to remove tomato peel. A bottle brush helps with the process. 4 stars to the sturdiness because it will wobble with the motor. I believe a wider clamp mechanism may help but you can also add a piece of wood under the counter to help the wobble. The wobble did not cause the machine to fall off or fail. Otherwise, the machine deserves 5 stars for all categories.
