nice loooking dog house
The only problem was with the packing of the unit. During shipment one of the side panel was damaged. Looks like a fork lift went through the box and damaged one of the side panels. The siding support pulled out of the screw holding it. and split the bottom piece of siding. I put it all togather again with longer screw and glue. It then assembled with out any other problems. Other than the shipping damage it is functional. I have the same problem as others, that my dog chews up the wood on it. One feature that is nice is that the legs are adjustable. Makes it easy to set up level, so it is sturdy. My dog went inside of it right off to check it out and said it was ok.

Good Dog House, Excellent Customer Service
When we initially received the medium-sized dog house, we found two defective parts: a long crack in one of the corner columns attached to the back panel, and a sizable hole/damage on the underside of one of the roof panels. However, we received excellent customer service from the seller (Tangkula), after they were notified about our problem with the defective parts. After a couple of email exchanges with Tangkula, they promptly sent us a replacement dog house. We are happy with their responsiveness. The dog house itself does look nice and the design is good, but the quality of the wood is just okay (somewhat on the soft side and susceptible to nicks/scratches or other damage if not handled carefully). Overall, we'd still give this product a very favorable rating (about 4.5 stars), also in part due to the responsiveness and excellent customer service that we received from the seller.Note of caution regarding assembly: When attaching the roof panels to the dog house, make sure that the screws go into the center of the wood supports on the front and back panels of the dog house. Even though there are predrilled holes in the roof panels, if the roof panels are not seated properly, it's possible that the screws could be put in too close to the inside edges of the wood supports, resulting in the screws protruding through the wood supports and also the roof panels not being securely attached to the dog house.

Satisfied overall
Nice, simple design, very easy to assemble and solidly made, on the whole. A few of the wood pieces were splintered, and the pre-drilled holes on the roof were in the wrong place (several inches below where they should have been). But it wasn't too hard at all to create new holes, if you just studied the design and how it was meant to be put together and used a little common sense. Also one of legs was sawed right in the middle of a knot, and so it was virtually impossible to drill a screw into it (for attaching the plastic cap), without first pounding a small nail into it and then extracting it. And that ended up cracking the leg, but the plastic cap held/holds it together just fine. Definitely satisfied overall, and the extra-large version houses our 70-lb. Golden Retriever nicely.

Instructions were good and all screws and lots well organized and marked
This house arrived yesterday and I assembled it myself in less than an hour. Instructions were good and all screws and lots well organized and marked. All you need is a screwdriver. It's well made and looks just like the picture. My two Corgis have already been in it and they seem to like it just fine. I bought the pad that is mentioned with it and am pleased with it as well. The only potential downside is the lack of weatherproofing of the wood. I don't mind because I'll probably paint the house a fun color, but if you want it to remain the same color and last, you'll want to varnish it. Otherwise, a great buy.

What a Piece of Junk
It went together really easily but what a piece of junk! We could tell it wasn't well made when we put it together but it just fell apart over a few weeks......and my dogs were not rough with it by any means. They hardly used it! Don't waste your money on this hunk of junk!!!! Spend a little more and hopefully yours will last because this thing didn't.

Nice looking house, just a few issues.
It's a nice lovely dog house, I love the style and that they use real cedar. I bought the XL house for my 40Ib American Bully and its great. There is plenty of room for him to lay down as well as sit up with no issue. You could eaaily fit 2 of him in there with little problem. However when mine got delivered there were a few problems. One being that one of the shingles was gashed but luckily the cut didn't go all the way through. Another issue is that on the back non-shingle side of the roof it looks as if someone kicked it in and there's a long, L shaped cut on the back of the roof. Hopefully it won't cave in with some heavy rain. Thirdly on one of the corners for the house where you insert the screws, it was missing a chunk. Again luckily it didn't cause any issues while installing. Lastly, I only received 3 out 4 of those leg prompts that you screw under the legs. Not a big issue but it made it practically worthless to use the rest. As someone else said, the front, back and sides of the house are really thin, about 2 inches which is a bit odd consider how thick and sturdy the roof is. I didn't think the house could hold it up hahaInstallation overall was a breeze. Instructions are all pictures, 4 steps total, But I had no issue following them. It will take you maybe 15 minutes to install, less if you have a friend. I installed it on my own.I'm pleased with the house as of now, but if I face any further issues down the line I'll be sure to let you know, It's hot, humid and at times stormy this time of the year where I live so the house is definitely going to put to the test by mother nature.
