Second time I purchased these bread bags and they are worth the money. They are sturdy and the twist ties are sturdy also. They are generous in size also and sometimes I just put the homemade bread inside and cut off excess length. I mostly make oblong loaf size, but this bag also accommodates a large round loaf also. Made the mistake of another purchased bag for half the price and I was sorry, as the plastic was flimsy and twist ties useless and also flimsy.

I use these for all my breads to store in the freezer. These are big enough that I can put in two loaves. Also use them for bagged ice. They are large and strong. Perfect!

I had been reusing Arnold bread bags after consuming that bread, it's size is pretty good, even for a 13 inch Pullman loaf. After using them a few times it's time for a new bag which means more store bought bread or buy a supply of new bags, it was time to buy new bags.I bought these heavy duty bags to have on hand which are good for far more then a bread bag.The quality of the bags is very good. As advertised, the plastic is much heavier then the typical bread bag. There is lots of extra room in the bag with a 13 X 4 X 5 inch loaf inside.I mostly bake bread in a 4 X 13 inch Pullman pan so my bread is 4 X 13 and 4-5 inches high depending on how much it rises. I also bake in the 4 X 9 Pullman, that loaf will fit in the bottom of the bag, a little tight but fits there, then roll the bag up and put in bread box with out the twist tie.To get an idea how big these bags are if ordering the first time. With bag flat on table, it's 8 inches in diameter sides still folded from shipping, bag pulled open and flat on table it's 12 inches in diameter, opened into a rough circle is 8 inches in diameter and of course 18 inches long.The bag should do well for round free forming bread loaves also.

Seem to be good quality. I like that they are thicker than normal, perfect for my needs. Holds my 2 pound homemade loaves. We also use these bags to transfer the ciabata bread into that we buy from Costco (the bag that they come in has 'breather' holes in it and the bread will get too hard if left in the original bag after a couple of days).
