A 2 part series which started off so good!!
As a fan of Shantel’s Lords & Dark Kingdom series, I was excited to read Addiction. This book did not disappoint, it has romance, suspense and is focused on family, relationships and of course addiction. Also, the spice scenes are so good (in my opinion!)Without giving away too much of the spoilers, the plot twist was around Case. He knows everything about Taylor but is always shrouded in mystery. Who is he really? If you are a fan of her books, I definitely recommend to read this as you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely Addictive!!
What a book! I was totally hooked from the beginning, trying very early on to work out what is going on and what the connections are between, Taylor, Blane, Case and Brecken. As addiction starts to unfold you are kept second guessing and all you can do is literally live in the moment and simply wait for the story to give you some clues and by that I mean with Case and Brecken but let's not forget Blane's involvement too.I felt quite anxious at times because I was worried that Taylor might end up getting addicted to drugs or something, it's just that you weren't sure where it was all going especially when she was around Rachel but thankfully the only addiction she had was Case.Just when you think you might have an idea as to what is going on or where it's all going you are completely thrown, honestly I would never have guessed it right about Case and Brecken to say I was surprised is an understatement.I have to say, when Taylor got shot Shantel Tessier led us to believe for a brief moment she had died and I honestly thought that is what had happened, just as Case and Taylor were finally happy, let's face it this author has done that before, if anyone has read Dash then you will know exactly what I mean! This is a fantastic story that just about features everything addiction being the main concern and message but let's not forget the danger, sex, Lies, mystery, I might have missed something? Oh I know what about Case's real name being Tyler, I had to smile to myself... Tyler and Taylor.. Brilliant! It all began in August 2013 for me when the first instalment of the Undescribable Series came out, read it all and Dash, loved every bit and I can't wait for Brecken's story Obsession..can't come soon enough.Thank you for the start of another brilliant series!

Didn't really deliver
Rather disappointing to be honest. I found I never really bonded with Taylor. She came across as whiney, and considering what she was worried her brother had got involved in, very unfocussed. It's safe to say the plot is a little predictable and there were elements of the writing that annoyed me, notably how frequently Case kept saying how he needed to stay away from Taylor, or that she was like fresh air.It lacked originality in that respect, though the plot was pretty good.It needs copy editing and proof reading too.

A good read
It was a good read with many twists and turns that kept me engaged.I couldn’t fathom out how Case was meant to be this big bad drug dealer etc. And still let Blane (a minion) speak to him so badly, but it made sense.I did figure out the main plot twist early on but no biggie. There were a few spelling mistakes and grammatical errors which were slightly annoying.I have read books from this author before and they are a bit same old same old but enjoyable nonetheless

So good
Taylor is on a night out with her brother and his girlfriend when she spots a guy staring at her. As much as she wants to avert her gaze she can’t. Later she finds out he is the club owner Case and her brother is dealing drugs for him. All is not what it seems and everyone is lying to Taylor and even though she tells Case she hates him she can’t deny the connection she feels to him. I enjoyed reading this so much I’ve bought the paperback as well.
