IC International Concepts Set of 2 Madrid Solid Wood Chairs, Unfinished

These came faster than promised, and they are very sturdy. They were easy to assemble. I have received many compliments.

These chairs are very well made. Although easy to assemble, takes some time. Took me about 1/2 hour each. Well worth the effort. All pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly and everything I needed, except a phillips head screwdriver, was in the box. They are sturdy and should hold up for many years. Also, very pretty.

Solid well made chairs that are pretty easy to assemble and finish. They are very strong and solid to sit in, unlike many that you get a furniture stores. these should last for many years.

The chairs are great - and they want you to know they are made in Vietnam (is written EVERYWHERE on EVERYTHING). They are as in the Amazon pictures. Sturdy, easy to assemble. I bought 4 chairs (2 boxes) and had small issues in both (though the 4 stars): 1 of the screw Phillips cross marks were not actually drilled; one of the washer came broken. I have plenty of tools and gizmos so it was easy to come around, but if you only have what is in the kit, you're good for a return!

These chairs are absolutely beautiful. We knew they would be decent quality based off the other reviews but these bypassed our expectations for the very reasonable price of around $100 for a pair. We ordered three pairs and after very close inspection there were no major imperfections that a few seconds of sanding could not fix. My husband and I put on a two hour movie and had these lovelies unpacked and all but the actual seat assembled long before the ending. (We are staining the seat a different color and distressing them so they will be attached later) If you want a good quality chair without paying through the nose then order from this company. On the off chance they don't hold up to a beating I'll let you know then but for now I would buy them again!

Love my chairs!!!! I bought 12 of them. They have to be put together, but that process is so easy! If I can do it ........ The wood is solid and capable of being stained if desired. The chairs are sturdy and heavy. I painted mine black, then distressed then. Last I applied 3 coats Polycrylic. They look GREAT! Love them! I would definitely recommend these chairs if you are looking for a specific finish and don't want to spend $200 per chair!!!

Seems OK except 1 chair wobbles badly due to the front legs being uneven. 1 bad and 1 good gets you just 3 stars. Also, no predrilled holes on the seat.

Quality of the wood was better than expected.
