I've had this replacement for a month now and I have to say it's working just fine. I haven't had any complaints about my microphone quality. The audio also comes in very clear without static. The only small issue I've found is when muting the mic it doesnt mute the audio completely. Other than that its great. Much like the original.

Cheap build. One broke shortly after purchase (wire pulled out from mute toggle). Ordered a 2nd- the right headphone is playing static and doesn't work half the time. Will look for different manufacturer. Don't waste your money.

I have had this headset for several months, and it has amazing mic quality. However I have found that a bit of heavy use (accidentally pulling the cable out of my computer) has lead to some performance issues, with the mic not working from time to time. I will chalk this up to user error, so I would still recommend this headset.

Works great for me! I bought this cable to use with my Bose 700, originally just to have the volume controls on the cable. . When using the headphones, I often like to use them in wired mode. It reduces latency, and when traveling, it can save battery life, as the Bluetooth radio is turned off when the cable is plugged in. Volume controls work perfectly. On my M1 MacBook Pro (it's using MacOS Ventura), I can answer iPhone calls through the laptop, instead of having to reach for my iPhone, but this was a problem with the original (mic-less) cable supplied with the Bose 700. Plugging in that cable shuts off the microphones in the Bose 700. I can go into settings on the MacBook and set it up to use headphones for audio output and the MacBook microphone for audio input, so I was planning on using the cable that way. I can be listening to background music on my MacBook, but switch over to a phone call quickly when needed. Very efficient. On a whim, I tried setting up the MacBook to use the cable’s microphone, and the mic works perfectly, too. Sound is a bit louder (but more bass heavy) using the cable mic. While I’m not a gamer, I expect this would make the 700’s useful for gaming. I also tested the setup on a Windows 11 PC, and it works perfectly there, too. All in all, I’m very pleased with this cable. It seems very well built, with metal plug bodies, and a strain relief on the laptop/device end. With those fittings and the coiled cord, I expect to get long life out of this cable.

Despite a number of negative reviews I gave it a try. Initially, it was a great replacement for the Bose product (which they no longer sell) but it broke after 2 months. The cable connection at the microphone/headset end failed. This seems to be a trouble spot as this is also where my Bose failed -- but the original lasted much longer. Your mileage may vary.

Works great, not the same quality as OEM. Boom mic is a little larger.

This mic hooks to my Bose QuietComfort 35 headset well, and works great for making calls at work for Teams and other apps like that. I also use for gaming, as it will plug into the jack on my xbox and playstation controllers. The audio quality is good. My only issue is that the cord could be about a foot longer....as its a little short as is. Otherwise, its a decent mic that add functionality to a decent headset.

*Update: leider extremer Wackelkontakt, ich kann das Mikro nicht mehr nutzen.* **alter Text**: Habe endlich ein Mikrofon gefunden, das zu meinen Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Series 2 passt und einigermaßen die Außengeräusche dämmt. Nach unseren diversen enttäuschenden Testbestellungen von teuren Büro-Headsets fürs Großraumbüro kann ich jetzt endlich meine privaten Bose mit perfektem Noise Cancelling im teils sehr lauten Büro auch während Calls nutzen. Denn das externe Mikrofon lässt kaum Außengeräusche durch. Leider nicht so 100% perfekte Richtmikro-Qualität wie integrierte Headsets, aber die haben dann immer das Manko, dass deren Hörer schlecht Lärm isolieren. Meine neue Bose-Mikro-Kombi finde ich unterm Strich 10x besser. Das normale Bose Mikro im Kopfhörer überträgt dem Gesprächspartner gefühlt jede Stimme im Umkreis von 10 Metern so deutlich, dass dieser mich kaum mehr versteht, wenn ich nicht allein im Raum bin. Also musste ein externes Mikro mit Geräuschdämmung her. Das Mikro sitzt fest am Kopfhörer. Bisher absolut kein Wackelkontakt o.ä. (ca. 10 Arbeitstage lang genutzt und 4x in der Laptoptasche transportiert). Die Länge des nicht abnehmbaren Kabels reicht vom PC bis zum Kopfhörer aus, um damit normal am PC zu sitzen, und es gewährt gerade noch so Spielraum, um mit angeschlossenem Mikro z.B. etwas vom Boden aufzuheben. Es funktioniert jedoch ausschließlich mit am PC eingestöpseltem Kabel, d.h. man kann sich nicht frei im Raum bewegen. Vorteil ist jedoch, dass ich die Bose Kopfhörer dann nicht einschalten, aufladen oder connecten muss. Der Strom kommt vom PC, und dank Kabel erkennt mein PC das externe Gerät sofort & wählt es bei Anrufen von selbst aus.

Me gustó mucho, buena calidad, buen funcionamiento, me ha gustado mucho.

Llegó en buenas condiciones es una empaque (sobre plástico) resellable (tipo zipploc). Tiene buena terminación el clable, se ve de calidad y no parece endeble. Funciona perfecto con audífonos bose sound link y no he tenido perdida de calidad o similar. Lo malo: al inicio tuve que forzar un poco la entrada 3.5mm porque no llegaba bien la calidad, después de eso no tuve problema. El micrófono no es el mejor, pero te saca de un apuro.
