Good machine
Updated Review – Changed from 1⭐ to 4⭐ Initially, I gave this product 1 star because I thought it didn’t work properly. The issue was actually my mistake: the sweegar (sewing machine) uses a specific combination of threads and needles. When I first used it, the original needle broke, and I replaced it with a 90/14 needle. That was the problem, as the machine is designed to work with 80/12 needles. After replacing it with the correct needle, the machine works perfectly. I’m updating my rating to 4 stars because it now performs as expected.

Good machine, beware of its limitations and the quality of its accessories.
This little machine is quite versatile. It does not have electric reverse and must be manually backed up if required. The threar spool spindle for a full size spool is easily damaged and the way it retains itself into the machine is poor. Honestly, if you are gentle with this and are aware of it's limitations, it is a great little machine that does a very secure stitch. I used UV stable thread double the size that comes with the machine and stitched through material that is about 3-4mm thick (1/8 - 3/16"), and it works well enough that I am very happy with its operation.

Needle that came installed in the machine broke within a few stitches. I loaded one of the replacement needles it came with, and even running it through the sample fabric that came with it, the replacement needle broke too. I loaded yet another of the replacement needles it came with, and that one broke within a few stitches also. None of the needles are marked with Singer’s logo - not the one that comes loaded in the Singer sewing machine nor any of the ones in the replacement set that ships with it. I have ordered Singer needles to see if that makes any difference and will adjust review accordingly. Also, the thread that ships with this set is just okay, breaks easily. UPDATE: Went from 1 Star to 3 Stars, but with reservations 1) The needles that come with this are garbage and are NOT made by Singer. Replacing the needle with a Singer needle fixed the issue of the needles that came with it continuously breaking. 2) The thread that ships with it is also low quality and can break easily. Setting the tension on the lowest possible helped but didn’t completely solve the issue. 3) In general, it seems like the tension needs to be at the minimum setting with most threads (which is the moment the tightening screw latches in). Would be nice if the unit had a small light underneath to make it easier to see where you are sewing. I would consider this okay for very light work, but it simply cannot compare to an actual sewing maching.
