First microscope!
Quality microscope for a beginner! My budding scientist grandson loves it! Substantial in weight and lenses are very clear. The price is very reasonable. My only suggestion would be to include an instruction manual more appropriate to the age level.

Very poor
I ordered this for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. The pin is on the lens and really gets in the way this is not listed in the description at all and when I asked they said it was part of the new design. This also didn’t come with a manual and I had to ask for one that was then sent over in a message. I feel that having a manual for an item like this is really important to have it in the box.

Very good for school kids use!
I bought it for my son who is in 2 grade. It is enough for him to observe all the projects which he want to see. Based on the price, it’s very good microscope.

Excelente por sus dos Fuentes de luz
Excelente regalo para mi hijo porque tiene luz frontal para objetos opacos como monedas, piedras, etc como luz debajo del plato para ver laminillas. Por cierto que si es un regalo para niños, compren un set adicional de laminillas ya pre-cargadas porque el microscopio sólo trae 5 y la diversión se acaba pronto.
