The coils are small, not wound ideally, and covered by something resembling liquid tape. Ideally you would want large, symmetrical, bare copper for the best charge.I gutted the unit, modified my Silverado to the max, just to give myself wireless charging on the center console. Not hard, but time consuming to do it nicely. A dremel is highly recommended!Because of the way this is made, it will not be useful unless the device to be charged is <5mm from the coils. Inside the case, it’s already 2mm away (leaving only 3mm to induct). Charging speed, even with what they give you is poor.For my truck setup, I had to place the circuit board inside the plastic tray, by tracing and cutting the space. Then, create a hole through the main dish and material underneath for power. Run a new, thick USB-C to C cord down, under carpet and up to the outlet, with a powerful PD port. Clean install, but you can’t put the mat back over it, because it is almost 3mm thick, and any case would render the charger useless. So i purchased a 16mil rubber mat on Amazon, heat formed it, hand cut it, and now it charges a slim case or no case phone/AirPods quickly. A thick case will still charge, but very slow.Again, not an easy task. Should I have went with a quality 3-coil, it would have been stronger and faster charging.

Super bad product. takes ages to find right position to charge devices, and sometimes will be charging fine, then stop charging all together without moving device. "no sweet spot charging"... yeah no, you definitely need to find the "sweet spot".

This bbn is my first wireless charger. I have a Samsung Galaxy s8 and an iphone X. The charger works well and charges both very fast, fast charging with Samsung is faster than normal chargers even. Only reason for less than 5 stars overall is that I bought this to charge both phones at the same time overnight and due to the size of the phones side by side they do have to be in a little bit of a sweet spot to charge both. I have gotten a text at night and when i put my phone back it didn't land in the perfect place so i woke up to an almost dead phone. It looks cool and sleek.

The product name of "no sweet spot" and description of "Any angle for charging. No need to align perfectly" make it sound like you can place a phone anywhere but it still takes some effort to find the right spot. Turning a phone lengthwise is no problem, but that's not an option when charging two devices at once.However, it works well and is perfect for travel. Comes with a USB-C cord and wall plug adapter so you and a travel companion only need the one charging pad for two phones--and if you have an Android phone with a USB-C port, you can always leave the pad in your bag and plug directly into the phone.

Like most wireless chargers, I find that the charging is pretty slow(especially when charging two devices at the same time—such as an iphone and wireless earbuds).If you are busy and don’t need to keep picking up your phone every couple of minutes, it can get you a good 20 to 30% in about half an hour. But beware, if you want to grab 10%, you better be prepared to leave your phone laying down and uninterrupted for at least 10-15 mins.That being said it is still very convenient, and I don’t regret the purchase.

So far this charger does well charging two devices, but it doesn't dual charge for al of my qi enabled devices. I bought this so that I could charge both my personal and work phone at the same time. While it does perform well with these devices (both Samsung), it has a little more trouble with other devices such as my galaxy watch and earbuds. Oftentimes, I have to try to reposition it so that it actually charges. Sometimes this is a success while other times it won't charge at all.

I love this charger- it is nicely weighted, so it doesn't feel cheap (or move around easily)- it has a pleasing grippy surface to put your phone on- the LED isn't really annoying- It is the shape of my phonesome other details- I use a right-angle usb cable so the cord didn't have to stick out at right anglesto charger- I don't bother to use this to charge multiple devices, that is just as annoying as trying to position your phone on a small round charger.

Overall the charger is great. It does exactly what it needs to do. However, it can be hard to locate the right spot on the charger to place my phone, which can be kind of irritating and time consuming. Once it starts charging, it charges my phone quickly and stops charging once my phone is fully charged so that my battery doesn’t overcharge. It’s also compact, so it makes it easy to pack in any bag for traveling.
