IZODMen's American Chino Double Pleated Classic Fit Pant

Updated:I'm always grateful to find any pants that come in 32" waist and 29" length, because that is seldom found these days. Even so, you're still taking a chance ordering any pants online, because the dimensions might still not be quite as advertised.The first pair I ordered were just right! They fit very well and are comfortable to wear - so much so that I do not mind that they are chinos and not my usual jeans. I have already gotten many compliments on these pants so obviously that makes me happy too.They do get a little wrinkled and so I would hesitate to call them "wrinkle-free," but if you get a darker color, it's not very noticeable. And if I ever want to get any wrinkles out, I wet the wrinkled area, smooth it a bit. and hang the pants to dry overnight.Needless to say, I am happy with these and will be taking them on the family trip to the Jersey Shore this summer to use as dress pants for dinner.Update as of April 29, 2022:I ordered a 2nd pair, same color. They were not cuffed as well at the bottom. The cuff on the 2nd pair was shorter than on my 1st pair which made the pants too long. Worse, the cuffs on the 2nd pair were unevenly stitched, so they looked crooked. I ended up returning them. I want to get another pair, but now I'm hesitant to try again. I docked these 1 star because it looks like quality control is inconsistent.

The material is not as soft as I expected, but then, I have not been able to find it in years. Too bad. This will do.

I like them because they are not jeans so if I want to upscale my outfits, they will be the pants that I can wear

Needed some nice slacks for an interview and they were perfect. Material felt good and measurements were accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I needed it.

Looking for a second pair of khaki chinos and most of the usual suspects underwent a marked transformation in the last five years, moving to MUCH lighter weight fabric, lower rise in trousers, cheaper zippers and fasteners, and lower quality tailoring. Pants that were good quality 5-6 yrs ago and sold for $50 are now lower quality and sell for $85. I hope the $1 they saved made up for my lost business. These pants (ISOD American Chinos) seem to be made of better-than-average weight cotton gabardine and the zipper and fasteners are adequate. Tailoring seems good although they have only been worn a few times, so we'll see. The only gripe is the accuracy of sizing: I ordered the same size as three other pairs of cotton chinos and this pair is nearly a full inch small (measured) on the waist and 3/4" short on inseam (I don't mind the inseam short because I am also height challenged). I guess I do not understand the manufacturing problems...it seems like measured waist and inseam sizes should be the same from maker to maker. Its not like saying "Oh, I am a size 8". Anyway, all in all, they are "good enough" trousers to keep and the value received seems pretty good based on the price. Time will tell if I still think so a year from now, but I am happy so far.

Very comfortable and look great. I read other reviews that mention tight in front thigh, I felt that too at first. But is not wrapped around tight at all, has plenty of room at hamstrings, just feels that way over quads when new. Once at work and again on other days, especially after first wash, forgot all about it.Has just one button closure in front rather than a double button and clasp combo which would have been perfect.Only complaint is permanent press creases on pant legs are not very pronounced.

La calidad del tejido no parece ser la mejor, algo tosco, y el pantalon venia con un dobladillo que no se alcanzaba a adivinar en la definición del producto. Por otro lado el ajuste era el esperado y es una prenda comoda, salvando la aspereza del tejido.

Not often things exceed my expectations, but everything about this order did. The cost, the delivery, and the product. I ordered 36W x 32L. Went back to order more, but there were no more to be had and I was sad :-)

I'm delighted with these trousers. I have trouble sourcing cuffed and pleated trousers in Australia because apparently they're not regarded as fashionable - but I suspect that it's mainly because manufacturers have found that they require more fabric! I really love three features about these trousers - the excellent fit, the price and the quality. I'll probably buy them in other colours eventually, although I can't understand why different colours of the same garment sell at different prices.
