In an effort to get rid of as much plastic as I can, I've bought both stainless steel and silicone boards. The silicone boards appear to be well made and it's very convenient just to be able to bend them and drop them into the cooking receptacle. The small size is only adequate for maybe using at the bar to cut a lemon or a lime.

These boards are marvelous. Glad I purchased the silicon in two sizes. They are easy to clean and the cutting surface does not harbor stains or odors. I am use to firmer surfaces for cutting and storage but these do nicely. The only reason I gave four instead of five stars, is that I am use to storing my boards on there sides and these really store best when laid down flat. The color is exactly as depicted.

These are a great alternative to plastic cutting boards. So easy to clean and store. We have a set of very sharp knives, and so far not a mark on these cutting boards. Our plastic ones that these replaced were ripped to shreds.

Wanted to get away from plastic. These seemed to work great but after a short time already have gashes from use. Afraid it will break in half in no time.

Was just reminded, while reviewing something else that had a not-so-great cutting board surface, that THESE cutting ‘boards’ are actually really good! The smaller one is quite handy for quick/small jobs like when you need just one shallot, and the larger one is fine for chopping more stuff. I also really love the larger one for portioning out fish/chicken/meats to freeze recipe-sized amount separately, because the silicone material really comes clean afterwards. I’ve washed by hand and in the dishwasher, and both methods work fine. Highly recommended.
