It was a rip off. Showed it as a larger rock but was tiny. What a disappointment. It was false advertising.

So, it must be the luck of the draw here, cuz mine is about the size of an adult molar with beautiful flash and iridescence. Obviously, not a fake, as it's still impeded with some rock material and is large enough that I could process it into a stone for jewelry but I'm not going to. It's definitely worth the less than 10 bucks I paid.

So small and looks nothing like an opal. I can’t believe I paid $6 for a tiny pebble I could have got from outside in my driveway. So stupid.

Definitely smaller then the the pic on Amazon. Ok color. Will see after cabbing and polish.

Horrible and unusable. Tiny and very minimal opal showing. Had to return them. What a waste of ordering time

Having now read the reviews, I guess it is the luck of the draw - coz I like mine! I like that it still had a little earth in it. I just wanted one to add to my crystal/opal collection - no intention to sell. It also arrived just a day later than scheduled, which is not a train smash! I will try buying another from same supplier - but if the next turns out to be a dud - that'll be the last I buy!
