Great for keeping water and moisture out.
I've use this ames brand for years on my florida aluminum roof. It keeps the water out of cracks and it has lasted over 6 years and it's just now starting to need a refresh coat. I also use it to applied to concrete and aluminum joints and it sticks great, just be sure to use multiple coats following products recommendations. Its expensive, but you get what you pay for. I have used different brands from hardware stores to be only disappointed in quality and lifetime of products. Using ames is one coating you will not be worried about not fulfilling it's capabilities. I recommend using rubber gloves when working with this product because it sticks like it's supposed to.

Covered well , went on easy looks like it sealed well !
Application was easy after cleaning top of my RV fifth wheel trailer , it spread easy , covered well and then after drying recommended time I top coated it to seal it with Ames Stretch white two coats , now waiting for rain to see how well it sealedWell it lasted the summer months with no problem,but the first rain came at the end of the summer and wind , it blew off in sheets and started leaking again.Have to seal all over again!

Great Product Don’t buy from Amazon
Great product, don’t buy from Amazon. I’ve used blue max to waterproof and seal my Michigan basement. So far I’ve been extremely happy with the results. This product is amazing. That said if you are thinking, “should I really buy paint from Amazon” go with your gut… DON’T!!! Amazon shipped two cans in a giant box with little padding. They both exploded and leaked on my front porch. Clean up was a PITA and Amazon doesn’t have an option to get a refund without a “return” so you spend a great deal of time on the phone.Save yourself the headache buy from Lowe’s or Home Depot and have it shipped to the store.

Goes on nice, very rubbery texture
Bought 1 gallon to do the undercoating of a shower before putting up a vinyl tile kit. I was able to get 4 coats out of 1 gallon! I was very impressed with that, and when it dries it feels very rubbery almost like RTV gasket maker does. It spread very nice over the old plaster walls. Just make sure you use at least 2 coats, and give it 4 hours to dry in between. It only took my wife and I 10 minutes per coat to do the shower with 3" paint brushes.
