I was concerned that my African dwarf frog would be stressed out by the noise and bubbles, and that the water flow at the surface of the tank would inhibit his ability to come up to breathe. Thankfully he has grown accustomed to the new air stone very quickly and even seems to enjoy it. He kept trying to eat the air stone at first, but now he naps by it and swims up and down the bubble column. He can still surface for air just fine as well.

This pump is fabulous! Not loud. No buzzy. Good flow. Pleased.

Works good for plants. I root a lot of cuttings of my houseplants in water. Adding this to the water has really helped grow lots of roots fast. Only downside is that after about a month the tube started slipping off the pump. Every time I check on it they have separated. I had to put duct tape on it and it’s unsightly.

I bought this to provide my cory catfish and snails a little more aeration. It does the job great and looks so pretty in the tank. It was very easy to install and came with extra tubing and suction cup in case the first one wears out. I have had it up for about 6 months without issue. I also think it provide a little extra protection if the main pump stops working while I am not home. I think the bubbles would give enough air circulation for a few days at least if I could not get the pump replaced quickly.

Very silent and I wasn’t expecting it lol. Very good for a fish tank in a bedroom
