I have a wonderfully insulated glass from Starbucks which I love to use for ice coffee and mocha etc... the only problem was I had lost the straw which had came with it. I tried other lids, making holes through paper towels to put over the glass... doesn't work, and the flies are horrific right now. The straws I tried were either way to thick to fit through the hole in the lid, ,or way too short... when I saw these, I thought I would try them. The price is less expensive than regular straws at the local stores, and they are much sturdier. I AM SO HAPPY I GOT THEM!!! Not only are they narrow enough to fit through the small hole in the lid, but they are very long... about like the original straw. They are also heavy duty, and several came to a package!!! They are wonderful :-)UPDATE: STILL VERY HAPPY I GOT THESE. THEY ARE VERY VERY STURDY, AND REUSABLE ... I JUST RUN THEM UNDER HOT WATER TO CLEAN, BUT THEN I ONLY USUALLY DRINK WATER WITH THEM. THE BRUSH THAT COMES WITH THEM WOULD BE GREAT FOR HEAVIER CLEANING.

They work just like a straw... they are well made and easy to use. no instructions needed!

Easy to cut to length and dishwasher safe. Hard to find good acrylic straws with the stoppers. Really like these.
