Q: my buddy owns a pallet company so he gave me mulch from the pallets but it is not colored. will this dye work or will only work on alredy dyed mulch

It will work but you have to double or triple the amount you are using by raking the mulch and turning it over so you can color whats underneath.

Q: Can this be used on just soil and not grass? Have heavy shaded area where nothing grows.

This product does not work on soil, and has not been tested on grass. It's intended use is for mulch and other wood products.

Q: will it work if you are spraying dark brown mulch to change it to red, or do you need to wait until it is faded for it to work?

not sure, i think it would color the brown to red..but i already had sierra red mulch and just refreshed it with this product.

Q: Can i spray bare wood Privacy fence

No. This product is strictly for coloring mulch. It is not a permanent stain such as fence stain.
