A must for the Rustler
I own a Traxxas Rustler VXL, and can barely keep the front wheels on the ground. This is my second wheelie bar and it works great. The wheelie bar takes a beating off road when jumping the car and it holds up to much abuse. If you are rough on your car and jump it a lot off road, this wheelie bar will eventually break over time. Mine lasted me about 4 months before I damaged it. It was still usable, but I decided to replace it anyways to get a blue one. If you land on the wheelie bar while jumping, the bar will pop out of place and drag on the ground. Some complain about it popping out of place, but it needs to do this in order to last. Something has to give and I would rather pop it back into place each time than buying a new one. Keep in mind, it will only pop out of place on a bad landing.FYI, the two rails that slide over the bottom of your car will break first. The bar will still be usable, just not as stable. Sometimes one rail simply pops out and can be put back into place several times until it breaks off all together.I would also recommend the rubber wheels for on road use only, they work great for high speed runs. Use the plastic wheels for off road.

Does its job
Easy to install and comes with all hardware needed.I really like how it is adjustable and you have to push it down instead of up to change it so it will not change itself on a grand wheely lol

Pairs well
This wheelie bar pairs well with the RPM mounts for the Traxxas rustler 4x4, the stock wheelie bar is trash and to soft, with this one and the RPM mounts makes it stronger and you can adjust the height of the wheelie bar for as little wheelies to high wheelies

Works great!
Works great for our Traxxas Bigfoot rc truck! Kind of a necessity, since Bigfoot does wheelies when you punch the throttle!! Without it, the back end drags the pavement & can grind down the body of the truck. We only use part of it, with the screws provided, and it swings freely & securely to accommodate any angle the truck moves. Great invention!!

you don't need one as much as you think
I own a traxxas rustler 2wd vxl and on 2s lipo it wheelies like crazy on pavement so when i upgraded to 3s i figured i would need this but i realized that there is more of a skill to driving a 2wd than wheeling all over the place. Doing wheelies puts alot of wear and tear on your car and i realized that when i blew 2 diffs in a row, now i have the hot racing diff locker installed which is more durable but still i started to realize that just doing wheelies can get boring and if you want to have fun jumping and doing that kind of thing the most efficent way to pick up speed is not wheeling but that it is better to learn throttle control and i can have alot more fun, after only about a week i took it off and just left the mount on as a bumper which can be gotten separately for a lower price so i would recommend getting that instead to protect your motor/transmission but forget the wheelie bar. It was kind of a nusicance as every time i landed a jump or crashed it would pop out of place and i would have to fix it. The only place i found this helpful is when doing speed runs but even then it is not completely necessary, the only time you really need a wheelie bar is if you want to convert your car into a road vehicle but then there are plenty of aftermarket wheelie bars that would be better exclusively for on road purposes. On top of that most of the time when the truck is off road it can't even do a wheelie because the tires just spin which can only be helped by possibly better tires and better driving. So in my opinion there is really no place for this wheelie bar and if you are like me and want to do any kind of bashing you would do best to just get the wheelie bar mount to act like a bumper, search around rpm makes one that is probably pretty good, getting this made me realize the main reason i wanted it was just to brag that my truck had a wheelie bar so it sounded cooler. I want to help other people not make the same mistake and realize they wasted money on something they didn't need.

Nice replacement wheelie bar for one that took a lot of abuse. Get the rubber wheels to be really cool.
I replaced a beat up black Traxxas wheelie bar with this blue one to match my color scheme. I bought the rubber tires that come with bearings as well. (which you have to glue on the rims by the way)The color doesn't match RPM blue A-arms and transmission exactly but it is close enough for me. (traxxas blue is a little more purple than RPM blue)These hold up really nicely. It serves as a back bumper/motor protection as well. I strongly suggest some type of transmission/motor protection so you don't scratch it all up. Also the RPM front bumper is great. (aluminum bumpers do not give at all, plastic is the perfect material to make a bumper out of in my opinion)We can now hold wheelies with a good deal of stability at 30MPH with the rubber wheels. (the plastic wheels this comes with aren't too bad though)
