Great Shine and Easy to Print
I’ve was really impressed with the Giantarm Silk Gold filament. The gold has a nice shiny, metallic look that really stands out, especially on decorative prints and display pieces. The layers come out clean and the finish gives prints a much more premium appearance than standard PLA. It fed smoothly with no issues, and I had good bed adhesion and consistent extrusion throughout my prints. I also didn’t run into any clogging or noticeable flow problems. Overall, this is a great choice if you want a filament that’s easy to work with and gives your prints that eye-catching gold finish. I’ll definitely be using it again for display pieces and projects where I want the print to stand out.

Absolutely Stunning Shine and Flawless Print Quality!
I used this GIANTARM Silk Silver PLA to print a Star Wars-inspired beskar ingot on a geometric pattern-transfer build plate, and the finish is incredible. Silk filaments can sometimes be hit-or-miss when it comes to capturing fine details from a textured bed, but this stuff took the pattern perfectly. The silver has a genuine, high-gloss metallic luster that looks like machined metal right off the printer—no post-processing or polishing needed at all. In the photo, you can see how beautifully it picks up the light across the transferred triangular facets, and the Galactic Empire insignia on the corner came out razor-sharp with clean, defined lines. Stacking it right next to a black print really shows off just how bright and reflective the sheen is. It was also completely trouble-free to print. The filament fed smoothly with no clogs or bubbling, and the layer adhesion is surprisingly strong for a silk blend, which can sometimes be brittle. It laid down flawlessly on the first layer, didn't try to warp or lift at the edges, and popped right off the plate once it cooled down without ruining the transferred texture. If you're looking for a reliable, ultra-shiny silver that can actually handle highly detailed surface textures, this roll is a fantastic choice.

Beautiful Color and Easy to Print
I used this Royal Blue Silk PLA to print most of a large macaw project and had a great experience with it. The color is beautiful in person, very vibrant with a nice silky finish that makes the final result look really premium. I had no printing issues at all. No clogs, no tangling, good layer consistency, and the spool fed smoothly during long prints. The color stayed consistent and the prints came out clean. I would definitely buy this filament again for decorative projects and display pieces.

Stunning Silk Purple Filament – My New Favorite!
This filament has quickly become my absolute favorite. The silk purple finish is stunning, rich, vibrant, and produces a beautiful sheen that really makes prints stand out. I’ve had consistently smooth results with great layer adhesion and minimal issues during printing. If you’re looking for a filament that delivers both quality and eye-catching color, this one is definitely worth it.

An okay Gold Silk PLA Filament
I have bought the Gold PLA Filament 3 times prior and on the 4th roll had issues. Roll came with a massive opening for the AMS instead of a the standard hole, and the filament constantly jammed and spaghetti horribly. I tried all 3 of my printers and yes I made sure the roll did not have humidity issues. This is still a good PLA, however expect issues.

Flawless Printing Experience with Metallic Silver PLA Filament
I recently had the opportunity to use this metallic silver PLA filament, and it has absolutely exceeded my expectations, prompting me to give it a full five-star rating. As an avid 3D printing enthusiast, I've experimented with numerous types of filaments, but this one truly stands out for its exceptional quality and performance. First and foremost, the melting behavior of this filament is remarkable. It melts consistently, which is crucial for bonding each layer effectively. This feature alone makes it superior, as it ensures the durability and integrity of the prints. For those who have experienced issues with filament bonding in the past, this product could very well be your solution. One of the most impressive aspects of this filament is how smoothly it flows. This characteristic greatly contributes to an incredibly smooth and uniform first layer, which is often a make-or-break factor in the world of 3D printing. A well-laid first layer sets the foundation for the rest of the build, and this filament delivers flawlessly in that regard. In addition to its functional excellence, the aesthetic aspect of the filament should not be overlooked. The metallic silver shine it imparts to the prints is not only realistic but also visually stunning. It adds a professional touch to the objects, making this filament a fantastic choice for projects where appearance is paramount. Check out the cool laptop stand I was able to make with it. Furthermore, the filament’s adherence to the bed plate is commendable. Proper adhesion is vital to prevent warping and to maintain the precision of the print throughout the process. This filament maintains strong bed adhesion, minimizing common issues associated with lesser-quality filaments. Overall, this metallic silver PLA filament is one of the better PLA filaments I've worked with. It strikes the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics, making it an excellent choice for both amateur and professional 3D printing projects. Whether you are creating simple household items or intricate models, this filament will likely elevate the quality of your work, ensuring crisp, clean, and reliable prints every time. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their 3D printing experience.

Shiny and perfect gold filament. No smell, no blobs. No clogs.
This is IT! Came vacuum packed, no damage. It's super super strong. The adhesion is perfect. No tangling, no bent corners. It dries just fine. I can't smell it. The large spool is great because I'm going to use gold so often. The picture is about 3 inches in size, for the coin. I made the circuit board myself using Tinkercard, sliced with Cura. Printed on Ender 3 pro. It is awesome. I should have gotten it sooner. I'm not sure if they are any bad reviews, but if there are, its because their printers stink or are overused. My Ender is 6 years old, but its never been used, so I can tell you it works perfect at 200 degrees with 60 bed.

First roll great, second roll caused jams.
The first roll I bought worked great, no issues in multiple machines. The recent roll I purchased was all over the place. It printed fine on short prints but on longer prints it failed in one machine and cause a clog. Cleared clog tried it again in the same machine and same result. Cleared clog. Dried filament. Moved to another machine, printed fine at first and caused clog. I am giving it 3 stars because the first roll was great but this last roll not so great.

Price Rise put's this out of reach now.
This purple is average to better quality when compared to competitors' Sparkle Purple. It prints ok, It sticks to the bed ok but, It depends very much on your printer set-up as do they all. I paid £25 for this just a few months ago, which at the time seemed a little high compared to £17 for a competitor's version which was just as good. Now it's £31 I just cannot afford to buy it. I can buy a different brand and get 2 x 1kg reels for £37 in this colour. so only 3 Stars because of price.

Wow
Leider können die Fotos die Farben des Filaments nicht richtig wiedergegeben. Es sieht einfach klasse aus. Ich werde mir bestimmt noch andere Farbkombinationen bestellen!

Great filament all around, easy recommendation
This filament has been wonderful and enjoyable to use and the results are nearly flawless. It has given me the cleanest prints I've achieved so far and I've been using it extensively. No Z banding, layer lines are smooth and barely distinguishable, adhesion is great and it has absolutely no tangle, clogging or bubbling as advertised. With the correct settings (200C print temp and 50C bed temp on a flexible magnetic bed using an ender 3 v2 with upgraded bowden tube and BLTouch with Jyers UI), I've never had prints come out this good consistently. I've been able to start prints and come back once they finish without any trouble at all, which is great compared to other filament I've had to keep an eye on. It is a little prone to stringing, though, but that's no big issue as the strings aren't particularly long or thick.
