Pedia-Lax Laxative Liquid Glycerin Suppositories for Kids, Ages 2-5, 6 CT, 3 Pack

Might sound odd but from the advice of my veterinarian I purchased these to help my sick dog get some relief and they worked quick.

This is literally my last resort when my baby is backed up over several days and breaks into a sweat while pushing and cries so hard because of the pressure pain. As much as I hate doing this, it is so effective! She went within the hour (like 5 minutes) and kept going a couple more times throughout the day. Applying it is easy enough, I think these were pre-lubed but I used Vaseline along with it anyway. You have to kind of tilt it down at a slight angle while inserted to make sure you get enough out of the tube. Since using these I have found an oral alternative that works just as well so I’ll use that first if needed and if absolutely necessary I know these will do the trick.

Love these! My son suffered from chronic severe constipation starting at 6 months until he was 3.5 years old. These suppositories were our saving grace! His stool was so hard and large it was impossible for him to pass on his own and if he received a suppository he was able to pass very large stools with ease in just minutes! I don't know how we would have survived if not for these suppositories. They come lubricated, but I always added additional for comfort, and always administered them in the bathroom just before seating him on the toilet because a lot of times the glycerin would leak, make a mess and he would then quickly pass the stool. I'm telling the relief these things provide is instant. The age recommendation is also just a recommendation. Your pediatrician should always be the one to tell you if these are ok for your child if you are considering giving them to your child if they are under the age of 2.

Best laxative for potty training a toddler boy who withheld his poop. I purchased Oh Crap Poop Training lessons and these were recommended for toddlers who are withholders. After a couple days I had a toddler releasing poops in his potty. They work and they work fast!

My baby had really bad constipation when she transitioned to formula. She would spent days, even a week without pooping and she was always very fussy and looked uncomfortable. It gave my baby an immediate relief. After finishing the package I bought this set of 3 on Amazon so I don't run out of it when I need it. I continued to use it, but only once a week, then I gradually stopped when my baby's VM became more regular. This suppositories are amazing, I recommend it 100% for fussy and constipated babies. They are super easy to use, and very clean as well. You don't have to stick your finger on your baby's butt as it comes with a lubricated applicator that you insert on your baby and squeeze the little balloon to empty the content.
