Bought it on December for chanting purpose and found it worth. Like all good things have their pros and cons, it has too.PROS:1. Light weight, soft grip and good plastic quality makes it different from others which is great.2. Big Cell (CR1632) gives you a long battery performance3. There are 8 channels which gives you to count upto 7 digits + 2 extra mode 108 and 100 which beeps as you complete it. In which mode 108 is suitable for chanting purpose, it automatically counts your total malas once you complete a cycle of 108 chants.4. Lock mode, Led light and current time adds more features5. Push button for chant is bigger and made up with good stuff as I didn't find any fault like jumping to 2 digits or any malfunctioning of button like normal digital counters have.6. 1 year warrantyCONS:1. Like I said, if you want to use for chanting purpose, only 1 single mode (108) is required2. Push button (of chanting) has noise and if you're in silent room, you can hear it clearly. Slightly sharp noise of click..3. Price is too much so the choice is yours to buy a single piece of this or buy 40 pcs of normal counters ( keeping their price rs.15/pcs)4. Packing was horrible but luckily got the working device.4. Can't say how long will it go.Summary: If it cross the duration of simple 40 counters that without any doubt, it will be the best and for this have to wait as it just completed a month...

I am writing this product review for my second tally counter from the same supplier... The only compliant I have this time is they delivered a black colour tally counter instead of white I ordered. But that is not an issues....I have been using this product for the past 15 days & I must say that the product quality is extremely good..... I have tried different tally counter for my Japa and this one is really amazing.... It has 8 different channels which can be used for chanting different mantras.... Channel 6 to 8 are pre fixed to 100 & 108 counts hence you cannot change it... but, you can set any number with channel no. 01 to 05 ( In my case I fixed 27) and it will make a beep sound when you reach that number.... it has a very good LED & a clock....The battery can be replaced easily without losing the data ( the data will not be lost if the battery is replaced within a minute)...... Please go for it... The product is really amazing........Thank you !!!!

if what your chanting takes more than 2 minutes then it's not for you as the counter starts showing time after two minutes and to advance the number of count you have to press twice , first press to move it back to counter mode and second to advance the tally. Not able to find a way to increase timeout interval to more than 2 minutes. Also it's always ON display so may not be optimal for battery .
