Would the side pockets be large enough for a 1 litre water bottle?

I think the 1 litre bottle will fit in ok but be more likely to fall out of you bend over. The smaller 330 ml fits snug. There's a strap to tighten it in.

Does a 2 litre camelbak hydration bladder fit in the entrance for the hydration pack and is there a slot in the material for the tube?

Yes, I use a 2 litre bladder. It’s a snug fit but no problem, squeezing the air out before closing the bladder helps a lot.There are loops on the shoulder straps for the tube.

Does this have facility for water bladder?

There is a zipped pocket at the top of the bag adjacent to the straps and going across the bag for the full width, but is only 6 inches or so deep. I believe this is where the bladder would go. A couple of things about this: first most bladders I've seen are much longer than they are wide whereas to fit this pocket it would have to be on its side if your bladder is that shape, or you need an unusual shaped bladder. Second I would have expected a small hole through which you push the feed tube, but I can't find one, which eaves you having to bring the tube out through the main opening and securing it by closing the zip. One important rider to this advice - I've never used a bladder, so maybe there's something I'm missing in all this...

Does a standard iPhone fit in the hip pocket?

Yes, a standard iPhone 12cm x 6 cm does fit in the hip pocket. I also have an iPhone 6S Plus which is too big for the pocket.
