Bose SoundLink Flex Bluetooth Portable Speaker, Wireless Waterproof Speaker for Outdoor Travel—Black

I was looking for a lightweight speaker for use mainly outdoors, where I wouldn't want to crank the volume up too loud, and it was either this one or the JBL Flip 6 which is about £30 cheaper. Having used a Bose Soundlink, designed to drop iPod into for years (with a bluetooth adapter) I was really please with the build quality and the sound, so decided to go with the Flex. The sound quality is excellent and gives a really "big" sound, if you didn't see the unit, you'd think it was much larger to achieve such a sound It's very bass heavy, which may not please some people, but considering there's only one drive unit in it, it handles the range of frequencies very well, and when turned up load, really fills a room without noticeable distortion. Gives a really good thumping sound to Techno and rock music, but equally gives a very pleasant rendering of a Beethoven Piano concerto.. Always a "shot in the dark" buying audio equipment unheard, but I'm really happy with it, It's water and dustproof, but that doesn't concern me, very well constructed and , for me anyway, a much nicer design than the generic cylindrical shape of most small speakers. I use it with an iPhone, and as with my Bose headphones, it connects instantly when it's switched on, giving and audio description the battery level and the device connected. I've only tried it once receiving a phone call, and compared with the music sound level, the audio was very very quiet, and I had to turn the volume up to full to just about hear it, so that may be an issue if the ability to use it for phone calls was a deciding factor for purchase. All in all though, a great little speaker.

This bose speak is very impressive - its sound from such a small speaker is tremendous. The bass is lively, the midrange and treble is all there too. Battery life is fab, have only charged it once and used it for a few hours and its on 70% (it tells you this when you power it on). I like the way it connects very fast to Bluetooth on my phone, its almost instant. The back and around the edges is like a softer rubbery kind of feel and two bumps on its length at the bottom act as feet so it can lay down and face you to give you sound. Outdoors its really impressive, if fills a huge garden area, so you have to watch the sound levels so as not to annoy people. The performance of some other speakers I've tried (friends speakers) are bass overkill and are much larger. This Bose is spot on, it's got a lot of feeling and bass without being overwhelming to the point of needing to turn it down, and for such a compact speaker I don't know how they've managed it. We sometimes hang it off the door handle to give an ear height to the speaker when in the garden sat down. Easy to charge via a usb type c cable. Apparently it's ok to get it wet, I haven't tried this yet of course! Overall, I would not change this for anything else. Fits in a rucksack or bag easily due to its compact size, and feels substantial as it weighs 586grams - this thing won't blow over in the wind. Awesome, love it.

Best speaker I've ever owned. Very good sound quality, good base and clarity. Very loud and very portable. Battery life is decent and easy to connect to. Also love the fact it speaks and says the name of what it's connected to etc.

After watching countless Youtube videos on this product I took the plunge and bought the Bose Flex from Amazon. Nothing can prepare you for the sound that comes out of this small speaker. I already own a Bose Micro speaker and a Bose Revolve. I prefer the sound out of this and the form factor. When working from home I use the speaker connected to Microsoft Teams for meeting and it seamlessly connects to various devices at the same time so if I get a call on my mobile it switches over and in between meetings I can stream a news channel or radio through it from my personal laptop. When I'm in the office I can use it as a voice conference speaker with around 6 people in a meeting room on Microsoft Teams and when staying in hotels it enhances the sound of movies or TV playing on my tablet, great for audio books. I am a semi professional guitar player and agonise over EQ and sound. Some people don't like the fact there is no way to EQ this speaker but in my opinion it doesn't need it and it one less thing to have to mess about with. It's really well balanced and it really does sound amazing. I find it goes with me everywhere and is easy to transport because of the form factor. Everyone I have demo'd this speaker to has been blown away by the sound! If I had to pick cons, takes a while to charge and whilst 10 hours of battery life if fine for me it may not be for some people. If it helps I use this device with a Galaxy s22 Ultra, Surface laptop and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with no issues.

Alırken gelene kadar "çok mu para verdim, acaba tek hoparlör ile ne kadar sesi çıkar, x markası mı alsaydım??" diye çok düşündüm. Ürün gelince bütün sorularım cevap buldu. Öncelikle kötü yanlarından bahsedeyim: Bluetooth 5 ve üzeri bir sürüm kullanmasını çok isterdim. Evet içindeki kodek çözücüler başarılı ve şarkıları çok net ve temiz duyabiliyorum ama gecikme kendini ele veriyor malesef. Herhangi bir video izlerken veya müzik dinlerken yani playback yaparken çok belli etmiyor ama bildirim gelince veya şarkı değiştirirken ne kadar çok gecikme olduğu anlaşılıyor. Bunun dışında bu ürün içeride kullanmak üzere tasarlanmış diyebilirim. Dışarıda da kullanılabilir ama eğer sık sık dışarıda kullanacaksanız tavsiye edemeyeceğim. Bu hoparlörde malesef tweeter veya bir subwoofer yok. Tek bir hoparlör ile çok iyi bir mühendislik ile tüm sesler alınmaya çalışılmış ve başarılı da olmuşlar. Müzik dinlerken zevk ve haz alıyorsunuz kesinlikle. Diğer Bluetooth hoparlörlerde olduğu gibi sesi arttırınca tizler yükselip basslar arkada kalıyor fakat bunun diğerlerine nazaran daha az olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Son olarak ürünün malzeme kalitesi gayet güzel. Uygulaması bulunuyor fakat ekolayzır gibi çeşitli ayarlar yok.

Daha önce Sony, Harman Kardon, Bang & Olufsen JBL ve birsürü daha markanın bluetooth speaker'ını denedim. Özel ilgi alanım olduğu için sürekli daha iyisi arayışındayım :) Bundan önce en tatmin eden Harman Kardon oldu ama iki tanesi de 1-2 sene içinde bozuldu bass'lar cızırdamaya başladı o yüzden maalesef Harman Kardon markasını eledim artık. B&O küçük olanların ses kalitesi muazzam ama ses birazcık açılınca bass çok yetersiz kalıyor, kısık seslerde çok daha iyi performans veriyor. Sony ve JBL'i bu lige sokmuyorum bile karşılaştırmaya değmeyecek kadar kötülerdi. Neyse konuya dönersek, öncelikle hoparlörün gerçek ses kalitesinin ortaya çıkması için bir süre dinlemek gerekiyor, ses başlarda bir tık metalik ve daha derinliksiz olabiliyor ama 1 ay içinde gerçek performansını buluyor. İlk testlerime göre hem kısık hem de yüksek seste performansı oldukça tatmin edici. Çok büyük olmayan evinizde çok kalabalık olmayan partilerinizde bile işinizi görecektir. Şimdilik çok memnun kaldım, bu boyutta bir hoparlörden daha kaliteli ses beklentim zaten yok. Daha iyisi gelene kadar benim için en iyisi budur :) Edit: 2 yıla yakındır kullanıyorum bir tanesini arkadaşım çok beğendi ona hediye ettim, biri çalındı bu 3. ve bahçede sulamanın altında mı kalmadı, defalarca 1 masaların üstlerinden yere mi düşmedi. Bana mısın demiyor. Gerçekten sesinin yanında sağlamlığı da takdire şayan. Ayrıca duayen bir müzisyen olan yan komşumla bu ürün sayesinde samimi olduk, bahçede müzik dinlerken “nereden çalıyorsun ne kadar temiz basları” diyerek yanıma geldi ve arkadaş olduk. 3 ev yanımdaki müzisyen komşumu bile sesinin temizliği etkiledi o kadar diyeyim.

Quand j'ai reçu mon Bose SoundLink Flex, j'étais tellement excitée! J'avais beaucoup entendu parler de la compagnie en bien, comme des pionniers dans la qualité de leurs produits. Je recharge le speaker avant la première utilisation et entretemps, je lis les instructions pour me familiariser avec le produit. Vient le temps de connecter le speaker à un appareil : la grosse galère! Ca doit m'avoir pris un bon 10 minutes d'essais pour ENFIN réussir à connecter mon SoundLink Flex à mon téléphone via leur application mobile (Bose Connect). J'ai pu le connecter via mon ordinateur aussi. En dedans de quelques heures d'utilisations, il s'est déconnecté à plusieurs reprises sans raison apparente (le speaker était très près de l'appareil donc, je vois pas?!...). Puis, voulant écouter de la musique douce avant de me coucher... le speaker se déconnecte et IMPOSSIBLE de me reconnecter. Too bad, j'me dis. Je regarderai ça demain! Le lendemain matin, je décide de tenter de le connecter à nouveau sur mon téléphone : mon téléphone ne le détecte pas, mon ordinateur non plus, ni même ma tablette. J'ai essayé toutes les solutions possibles données par le site internet du fabricant et diverses plateformes de discussions : ça n'a rien donné. J'ai même fait un ''reset'' du speaker : rien n'y fait. Une petite recherche sur internet nous permet de constater que plusieurs autres personnes ont le même problème de connexion bluetooth avec leur appareil, et ce, depuis plusieurs mois. Bose n'a toujours pas régler le problème. Il propose seulement un échange de produit : vous devez vous charger de renvoyer le produit À VOS FRAIS... pour recevoir un autre SoundLink Flex potentiellement défectueux. Extrêmement déçue. Ça me donne pas le goût du tout d'acheter d'autres produits Bose. J'achetais toujours du Sony... je resterai définitivement avec eux pour tout ce qui touche l'audio! Nettement plus intuitif, fiable et facile d'utilisation!
