Functional & compact, but be gentle with it
(All items in the pic were included in the box.Bottom circles were made with the stencils.)I bought this specifically because I wanted a compact, pen-style compass where the needle isn't exposed and I don't need to carry a whole case for it. Also the aspect of having this snap in to become a mechanical pencil I can comfortably write with really appealed to me. So here are my thoughts:ā Honestly? Overall, it doesn't feel /that/ flimsy. It's made of metal (i think), so at least it won't just snap. However, once you open up the compass, the thin arm with the needle and the exposed part above the pencil are inherently more delicate, so you definitely gotta be careful opening and closing it lest you deform it. (Do it with your fingers close to the hinge, always!!) I haven't used mine much, but you can see from my pic (i hope) that the needle arm is already quite bent.ā Mechanism is smooth and the sliding part doesn't budge unless you press-slide it. When collapsed, this writes really well as its own pencil. The lead clicker being nestled in the body doesn't get in the way at all.ā They give you a screwdriver (it's a 00 phillips head, but in my opinion it's kinda too small for the hinge screw so i use a PH0 or PH1 instead) and it's not for nothing!! You can hardly adjust the compass to a precise radius by hand since its pretty bendy, so you gotta loosen and tighten the screw to do it. generous of them to include thisā”(also just fyi, smallest radius you can adjust without unscrewing is 1.4cm or 9/16in. you can get it to 0.6cm with unscrewing, i guess, but at that point it's tough to make a solid circle.)ā The eraser placement is p funny but I was surprised by how good it erases?? I used it to make the dashed circle in the pic. I probs won't use it often since it's odd to erase by holding the ruler, but it can come in handy :) if i actually carry the ruler with me lmaoOverall, it does what I want it to and looks like what I want. 5/5, just wish it were 0.5mm tho

A clever little tchochke!
The media could not be loaded. Ā First off, this is not exactly the compass they showed in the pictures or video. I did not receive a tube to keep the pen in nor did I receive a side barrel cover and the lead advancement is located inside the barrel instead of on the side. I also did not receive instructions, but it wasn't that difficult to puzzle this little tchochke out. What I did get: I got a little ruler that clips into the side of the pen instead of a tiny side barrel cover. I got a screwdriver?? I have no idea why. I also got pencil lead and a small bag of those tiny little erasers. Not sure why. If there's a place to install them on the pencil somewhere I wish someone could tell me. My fat fingers cannot deal with their tininess. I get hand cramps besides.All-in-all I like this gadget. It feels good in the hand and works well on the paper. It's good and solid. The pop-out arm on mine is actually metal while the pen body is definitely plastic. Like I said, a handy device for the price. It's not going to be an architectural high quality professional tool. But definitely a cool item to have.I deducted a star because of the difference between the ad and the actual product. Don't get me wrong. This item gets a thumbs up from me.

Love the mechanical pencil feature
The media could not be loaded. Ā Don't get me wrong; I love the mechanical pencil feature because I always have a sharp point for constructions. The OZEANE compass is the only one of its kind I could find on Amazon. While other compasses with replaceable leads work fine, once the tip is dull (which is very quick), you have no choice but to toss the lead and reload because there is no way to sharpen the tip; hence a good inch of lead is wasted. Now for the drawbacks,... the eraser is silly and useless. I'm not sure how it's intended to be used. It's inside the ruler, and I have to adjust it if I want to use it. It also retracts with very little pressure or just falls out. It makes more sense to use a secondary eraser and scrap the supplied erasers altogether. Secondly, there is no storage case, and the description of the product is incorrect. The tip advance button is "inside" the pencil and not on the side. Not at all a problem, but it's not the same as pictured in the video. All in all, I recommend this product because you are never without a sharp point!

Great tools fits in a pencil case
I love that I can have a compass with me all the time and it not be so bulky. This works great and I love the mechanical pencil which requires no sharpening.

Pretty Good
The build is pretty cheap, but I guess that's what you get for 10$. If you are using this for art, I think it's perfect. If you are using this for geometry/math, I don't recommend this because it's just not very accurate.
