I have a skin condition, store-bought deodorants tend to have chemicals that can block your sweat glands which irritate my skin. I love that this deodorant absorbs the sweat but doesn't block it. It also smells great and comes in a paper tube. If you are extremely sweaty then it might not work as well but for me it works great I apply it after I exercise or shower. Since the tube is made of paper keep it away from water! Sometimes the tube will get stuck just take a pencil and push on the bottom and that usually gets it unstuck.

I've been all natural for a long time and I love the shampoo and conditioner this brand makes, but this deodorant does not work. After 2-3 hours I smell like BO when sitting in my Air Conditioned home. There are other natural deodorants that work much better. Heck the crystal deodorant works better than this!

I have been using other scents of this product for about a year after discovering that baking soda causes a rash for me. This product doesn't irritate my skin and smells great! This is my new favorite scent. I love that it is Aluminum free and packaged in a paper tube. It can take getting used to and requires a pencil or something to push the product to the top when almost finished, but worth the bit of extra effort. I still sweat, since this is not an anti perspirant and might need something stronger for very hot or active days, but I love this for daily use.

I genuinely appreciate Alpine's approach and branding, but the execution of the "Magnesium Deodorant (Vetiver Sage)" was abominable. I seriously cannot believe any Quality Assurance was done on this product before release. When applied to skin, it does not soften to allow spreading, it feels like dry chalk when being applied, and it is overall uncomfortable and ineffective to use. The paper tube also has a very thin coating of plastic-like material on it, likely to give the label a bit of a sheen. Hey, it looks great, but what good is that when it is not functional and costs $10??I would like a refund and I would like Alpine to do better.

Bought this deodorant because I wanted my husband to add magnesium to his daily routine and he didn't like the sting of my spray. He also said his deodorant that he had been using wasn't covering the smell of his sweat anymore. He has been using this one for a week and he said it works when I asked yesterday. So it must work he is picky with his deodorant.
