Quality Control?
I ordered 4 pack of these cans. They were sealed together in plastic wrapping with a sticker that said to sell as a set. All 4 cans had an expiration stamped on the bottom saying 6/2022. There were no obvious dents or damage to the cans.I wasn't really sure what to expect since I've had rice pudding, but never from Britain. I opened up my first can and it was weird, kind of a lightly-colored orangish beige tint to it. It had no smell. It looked watery and not creamy and curdled and kind of disgusting. I decided to try some! I took a few bites and swallowed. The feel of it in my mouth was it was curdled. No bitter and not sweet, not too much taste to it. I swallowed it. That was a half hour ago and no signs of food poisoning yet, hopefully there won't be any.I opened another can. I think the second can I opened is how it should be, the second can was creamy and sweeter and it didn't have that curdled taste/look. I'm not sure what the deal is, but since the cans weren't damaged or expired, I would assume that maybe the company just has bad quality control? I ate half of that second can and I do kind of like this, which is why I'm giving it a 2 instead of a 1 star.I haven't opened the other two cans but may do that on a day I'm feeling more adventurous. I don't think I'll ever buy this brand again and can't really recommend.Update 05/15/21: I opened the other two cans and both were bad - what a waste of money! Changed my rating to 1 Star.

Canned rice pudding imported WAY too expensive for what it is
Back in the day we still had canned puddings made in the US. Now we have to rely upon foreigners and incredibly HIGH prices for, well, at best mediocre product in cans, which is this. It's NOT awful, OTOH nor is anything that I'd write home about and for the price yeah...I only purchased these back in the early days of the pandemic, attempting to avoid grocery stores, etc. I could not find what IIRC was 'Thank You' canned pudding so I bought a small 4 pack of these. The contents are incredibly bland even for canned goods, not to mention the insanely high price for what it is(cheap pudding).I'm guessing that this stuff is sold for expats who think that this crap is actually remotely decent...

It was delivered SPOILED
I ordered 4 cans of Ambrosia Devon Rice Pudding. I have ordered it before with no problem. My last order came and in all four cans the product was curdled and inedible. Amazon stated up front this product was non-returnable. I could not find anyplace online to complain or explain, so I threw out all four cans of rice pudding.

Delicious pudding treat from Britain
My canned pudding arrived in perfect condition, and quickly. It's very creamy and delicious. It's not as sweet as some American puddings, but why would you want all that extra sugar? The instructions say to heat it, but I ate it straight out of the can and enjoyed every bite. I've already re-ordered.UPDATE: My second order arrived. I love this cold, out of the refrigerator, especially with sweetened almond milk over it. It arrived in perfect condition. Product control was great.

I wanted to love this...
I heard rave reviews from fellow Anglophiles, and couldn't wait to have some for myself! The consistency is wonderful, it looks very appetizing, etc. I just didn't care for it. It is made with (I think) 3 ingredients...milk, rice, and sugar...very high quality...but I'm embarrassed to admit that I had to add sugar to make it palatable. I consider this a personal problem, and not a problem with the pudding itself, to be clear.
