In the Q&A section, the seller/manufacturer says majority of the boards are one piece of wood, and if not, at least it looks like one piece of wood. The first one I got is obviously two pieces with a crack at a corner. I requested a replacement, but the second one is 4-piece glued together very obviously.

This is the most satisfying cutting board I've ever used. It's thick, it doesn't move, it just feels very substantial, and is large enough it's basically redecorating a countertop. I've really abused it serving a turkey on it and cutting things with a cleaver. The wood is very tough and you really have to be ridiculous to mar it. The depressed ring around the board can hold well over a cup of fluid because the board is so large.I see some other reviews had issues with separation of pieces but mine is definitely very very solid, like one solid piece of wood. However, it is two pieces of wood pressed together, and not one solid board. I think at this price point that's no big deal. You'd need to pay much more for a huge solid chunk of quality hardwood, and mine really is very solid under abuse. I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher or anything,but I wipe it with a hot wet cloth and rinse it in the sink, and have had no trouble with wear and tear.But the big factor for me is the very large, beautiful wood that makes my kitchen look cool and is very functional. I've had a dozen cutting boards and none are this great.

This is a great wood cutting board. It looks really pretty and the surface is smooth and gorgeous. Also, it is heavy and thick and great for cutting meat or veggies. It is easy to clean as well. The water or the juicy will drain to the side and make the cutting area nice and neat. Highly recommend!

The board is beautiful and a pleasure to use. The channel is deep enough to catch significant amounts of liquid and to prevent mess. Beautiful, smooth, even surface. I love this board. It is a bit pricey though.

This cutting board is a thing of beauty! We ordered ours in black walnut and it is stunning......so stunning that we almost don't want to use it! The different pieces of wood are joined together perfectly and the routing for the juice groove and cracker well are done very well. Every surface and groove is sanded perfectly smooth with no little bumps or grooves. It is not only beautiful but it is very functional. One side works perfect as a cutting board (who would have guessed?) and the other side is beautiful for a charcuterie board or to as a serving/display board! There are handle groves on each end that make it very east to carry and add a nice finishing touch. The wood grain is very unique looking and gives it such character just sitting on the counter. It's kind of mesmerizing to look at. The cutting board measures 17"x13"x1.25" and is perfect for anything in the kitchen that needs cut. We are EXTREMELY happy with this cutting board! Easy 5 stars on this beauty!

It's big. It's heavy, but not too heavy. It's thick.I love the groove around the edge. Because of the size of the board it really will hold a lot of juice from things like tomatoes. The size also makes it great for cutting larger things. Haven't found a vegetable or fruit yet that it can't handle, even when dicing up a bunch of ingredients at once. The heft means it'll do a good job of staying in place, even with aggressive chopping.Great finish. Repels water incredibly well. Washes easily, holding up after weeks of use. Very happy with this, would recommend!

I could absolutely not be happier with this cutting board! It’s is a very solid beautiful black walnut. Very sturdy. The design was very well thought out with the groove placements. The liquid catch is a must. The side groves to pick it up are great. The reverse side cracker groove is actually pretty nice too, not something I would’ve thought I wanted.Of course, wood cutting boards require extra care but I am up for the challenge. I suspect this will hold up for years!

Love it. It looks expensive and hard to me. Design is nice, both sides are good. Perfect for self use and give others as a gift.
