OXO Good Grips Soap Dispensing Dish Sponge

This is may favorite wand sponge brush I’ve used. I like how I can squirt the soap out directly through the hole in the sponge. After a while, the rubber “button” eventually starts to crack and will no longer push the soap out and I’ll have to replace the whole wand, but overall, this is the best one I’ve used and does not leak soap all over like past wands I’ve used.

So I moved in to a new house for college, and the soap scrubber there was nasty. The scraper was busted, stuff was growing on the sponge. My roommates had no issue using it, but me, being a man who believes cleanliness is next to godliness, refused. So I bought this beautiful thing. Has it met my expectations? Yes. The little sphincter it uses to hold back the soap until you deem it necessary to use, is a marvel of engineering. I recommend this sponge scrubber 100%.

I bought my first one years ago then it broke 3 years ago after maybe 5 years of use, the one I got was slightly different but did ok for about two years then broke at the base where you change the sponges so it wouldn’t work, last one I got is a year ago. After 6 months I noticed the handle was always slippery but I didn’t bother with it, now after a full year of use, it leaks too much making the handle uncomfortable to work with, the cost to replace it again is just insulting after only a year but I bought plenty of sponges replacements so I’m kind of stuck with a bad design or bad seal but I’m unhappy about it
